A sort of IN for me - a soap I ordered off eBay has arrived. Aragon oil cold pressed body and hair soap, another sulfate free product. It smells nice, and is fine as a soap, but it does not work as a shampoo - feels horrible and plastic in my hair.0

Wow sounds like people have had some lovely well deserved gifts - happy mother's day to all the mum's.I have tried out the Easiest nudes ever yesterday and it was lovely, I adore the creasless cream shadows and the powders went on beautifully too.
I will have to try these sets out when I visit the counter for a new blush. Think I will be very tempted. Not sure if it's just me but I really don't like visiting Benefit make up counters - I always feel a bit under pressure by the sales people and they are not always helpful. Might just be my perception though or just in my experience, perhaps it's just where I live :rotfl:0 -
if anyone is interested here is that conditioner and the shampoo i was talking about. it is no frills stuff but is amazing for psoriasis type scalps!

I find '50+' moisturisers are still too heavy for me, which is somewhat encouraging as I am 55 in 2 months time.
Is now the time to confess I haven't bought anything from Aldi in years?! I'm going to keep my eyes open next time I go to Costco, as they had loads of the Olay stuff when I went in a couple of weeks ago. I was also thinking of investing in some Liz Earle potentially.
My skin is normal to dry, and a little sensitive. I probably should start using anti-ageing formulas now I'm heading to 300 -
Although I'm off my work ill today OH is more ill than me so I had to pop up the shop for some bits and bobs that would be needed before morning for the kids (pack lunch bits)
I was sooooo tempted to buy the mags with the neals yard hand cream and the elemis face cream in but I resisted (after about 5mins of deliberating)No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
Another UU: Body Shop Coconut Body Butter (9g).
WIBA? It was a freebie and much as I like their body butters, I had opened this one, used part of it and forgotten about it so it had gone hard. Wouldn't like this fragrance, but would use a different one.
Also, I didn't realised it at the time, but I UdU a Baptiste Dry Shampoo a month or so ago and didn't realise it was dead, so I'll declare it as my 14th UU of the year so far! :j
Oh, and I have two INs: Creighton's Perfect Blonde Conditioner (250ml) and Gum Hair Double Cream Super Rich Californian Walnut Fragrance Conditioner Cream (400ml). I bought them in the eternal Conditioners-That-Suit-My-Hair Hunt as I have now run out of Kerastase and can't afford to replace it, and I am delighted to report that it seems to like the blonde stuff, so I am happy to return the other stuff to H&B and try to exchange it for more bottles of this stuff, which I have never seen before. Total result, and a bargain at just 99p!:j :j :j

We have a one off department store in our town with a Benefit counter and there are two girls working there but one at a time, they are both helpful and friendly but I do find when I go to my nearest Debenhams Benefit counter there is always someone having a makeover and you can't get near anything to look and the other staff pounce on you and won't let you just mooch about.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Looking forward to the next UU, I am determined to get my toiletries under some sort of control! Hehe0 -
I'm using a bottle of this at the moment and have to agree with you that it's going down fast. I'm not at big fan of the smell of this either as it reminds me of Yankee Candle Baby Powder candles that smell synthetic IYKWIM. Sadly, though I have a few of these in stash unless I can find someone to gift them to.

See that's what puts me off going into Lush, they pounce on you and then they just won't leave you the hell alone! I want to look, I don't need advice, everything has a chalk + blackboard sign and I CAN READ! :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
