I normally stir fry it with some onion and some veg - normally peppers or spring onions maybe. What ever you have in. Add some chilies and soy sauce and serve it with noodles or sticky rice :)
  • I love it done in a casserole- although a friend told me recently you're not supposed to do pork like this? Anyone know why?
I find that roast pork can be a bit chewy as leftovers (esp. as I tend to put the best bits out the first time round!) but once casserolled (sp?) it really is delicious. I just treat it as I would any other meat- not killed anyone yet...

    Hi miniloopie,

There's an older thread with lots of suggestions that should give you some ideas so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together.

I love to make mine into pasties.

I mince mine add any left over stuffing, apple sauce and mix with cooked carrots, onions, stir in gravy. Make pastry and make into pasties.

  • have taken a joint of pork out of freezer to have for roast but will be loads left over any suggestions on what could do with it, dont really eat pork just got cause was reduced from £9 to £2:T Was thinking of curry but could i do this in slow cooker?
  • Cold roast pork is delicious as the fat keeps it so moist. I'd serve a meal of cold roast pork slices with baked spuds, pickles and a winter salad like coleslaw or waldorf salad or braised red cabbage ..yum.

Use the rest in sandwiches ;)
