Kynthia I think wired bras are fine until later in the pregnancy then they can cause problems for your milk ducts :)

Actually you are not meant to wear underwires in pregnancy either..

Oh gawd, I've lived in push up underwired bras for years! I had a shock on Saturday, I was in Victoria's Secret with a friend and we were trying on bras and I noticed lots of blue veins all over my breasts and body, I was freaking out, I looked like a road map! I hadn't told my friend I was pg so couldn't tell her about my horrible veiny discovery! I didn't buy a bra either...

Still haven't been to doc yet, will wait til next week

I'm sure that it's someone's full time job to come up with a list of dos and don'ts for pregnant women, the scarier the better

I wore underwired bras all the way through my pg with DD2 and it was absolutely fine. I did try on a maternity/nursing bra and it was awful. Not a cheap one either and it looked like such a granny bra and didn't give anywhere like the support I needed. Maybe it's easier if you've got smaller boobs but with my comedy kajungas it's underwired all the way :D

I've not had much in the way of symptoms yet. Thought I felt slightly queasy earlier but don't know if I just imagined it. My belly is huge - really wish I'd got the finger out and lost weight before :(

Great to see your 3+ digi Becca. I don't know whether to bother as I don't have one to hand and I'm kind of thinking que sera sera.

I don't think is meant to be for me :(

I noticed a bit if brown discharge yesterday and today its changed to bright red with a couple of tiny clots. It's a tiny amount but its still enough for me. I phoned my GP. He said give it a couple of days and see what happens. Said unless it becomes heavy and I'm in pain I should just sit tight. Could be normal. Phoned the early pregnancy unit and they said the same but I just don't feel right. I don't know whether its psychological but I've got a bad feeling. Some poor receptionist took pity on me and booked me in for a scan on Friday

Just need to wait and see.

Starting to worry about tomorrow and the scan. Is the blood sac going to be there or gone?

Bleeding when your pregnant just makes you doubt everything. I have had stomach cramps and some bleeding and think that is what makes me uncomfortable. Your so excited and then boom all other worries.

I have to wait until six so a long time. Not like its in the morning so I just have to get up and go.

For all ladies who are experiencing bleeding I have bled and I had an early scan and I had a sac above the pregnancy that was bleeding and not actually the pregnancy. Never tell you that do they!

    Evening Ladies,

Not much happening in my world, just shattered. Saw my doctor on Monday, we chatted about different pregnancy related things and about the nearest hospitals and midwife services in my area. There isn't a hospital in the town I live in and for some reason the NHS (I presume) chose the hospital furthest away to be our 'local' one! :rotfl: Ahh well, thinking of the positives - it will take me longer to get to work after appointments! :j

Have organised my booking in appointment, its on the 7th August and it would make me 10+6, Im worried it will not give me enough time to book a 12 week scan at 12 weeks. There is no way I can keep this a secret any longer than 12 weeks, I think I may explode. I have this feeling its going to be a couple weeks after my booking in appointment

Also the time of the appointment made me grumpy too! (I was very grumpy on Monday) its at 1pm at my local doctors. Of course I work 9-5 and we have strict first or last appointments of the day rule at work to minimise our working day. Apparently all booking in appointments in my area are at 1pm, that's why she couldn't fit me in in July. Because of this, I had to tell my manager as leave was already booked up for this day too (back up plan) My manager was lovely and very supportive, really pleased for me and advise to tell others that its a hospital appointment until I am ready to tell them I am pregnant.

Sorry for the long post, it just annoyed me on Monday, I want everything now!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the kind words. I will update after my scan. Fingers crossed for me!
Becca I hope you're feeling better soon. Are the cramps a new thing?
