i had a parking eye ticket for £100 60 if paid within in 7 days, xmass eve was the day they took pictures of my car 20 mins late back, i paid as i did not want anything to appear on my credit file (dont know if it could) but i have been working hard to keep it clean for years . as we were just about to apply for our first morgage, scares you into paying with the current credit scoring system the way it is dont know what could show on it. anyway think the letters they send would of been hassle and stress, so i paid them .
EPIC FAIL for an MSEer I am afraid - a search of the MSE forums would have told you it's all a scam and they could NOT affect your credit rating. Even just putting the company name in as a search would have got you here in time.
Oh dear. Lined the pockets of scammers. Better luck in sussing it next time a scam comes your way...your right i have been on here a while, rarley comment , sometimes i look for best deals advice ect... but parking eye could of still taken me to court for the invoice couldnt they? then i would end up with ccj is that correct?
NOPE.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ive just got a ticket for being 14 mins over the three hours at tower retail park in crayford,Kent.
I appealed the ticket stating i was a customer and enclosed the receipt for my meal at nandos peri peri chicken.
We was waiting some time for a booth table as there was 6 of us.
By the time the food came and we ate we were late by 14 mins.
We have been told it doesnt meet the discretionary criteria set by the landowner cobblers.
Now i have to enclose the valid evidence that i didnt break the terms and conditions stipulated on the signage.
What i need to know now is ,what is the latest state of play for the letters that are next? I cant find the sticky.?
Also should i cite the smith versys parking eye(manchester) case and stick a £15 cheque in the envelope, or just ignore all this junk?
I know its a scam, however i cant be bothered with the letter dodging..I like a peaceful life..:TMortgage free in June 2015.Yay!Now Debt free!... well i owe the wife a few quid.....0 -

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Did they tell you that? Tell them that if it goes to court the onus is actually on them to prove the opposite.
And then leave it at that. Or tell them to stick their head up a dead badger's @rse. Or something.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Dodging the letters is the easy way to a peaceful life as they'll eventually give up. So you can have both, not either!
Good news all round unless you're PE, and who cares about them?0 -
It is not a fine - the PPC is not a court of law.0
