Dyslexia is no excuse for the insults you threw at other posters calling them know it alls with small brain cells. Throw missiles at people - expect some back.

Can I say we are here to offer advice, sometimes that will be bluntly given as that cuts through everything and gets to the point. Your attitude stinks on here for some reason. Using dyslexia as a defence is no excuse. I do think that users here will vote with their feet and not bother responding to you.

And that is me out of here

    Hi everyone

    APCOA Parking ticket FINES
    Hi everyone

Have ignored APCOA parking fine but they have now send a Debt

collection letter from ROXBURGHE debt collectors demanding £138.

The following clause is included in the letter

"If you were not the driver at the time of the unauthourised parking eventplease contact us to let us know who it was. It is in your best interest to contact us so we can resolve this matter without recourse to further action.. If we do not hear from you we will pass the matter to our solicitors

We are fully aware of anecdotal information being presented on internent on various websitesand you may well feel this guidance is worth following. We strongly urge you to seek independant legal adviserather than rely on those opinions"

I dont know what to do. I am now worried that this can be passed to

lawyers and that will enquire a lot more debt or have these

debtors haunting me all the time

    Thank you LSL

Ignore them, the next letter you'll get is from graham white for £207.25 , who in fact is roxburghe pretending to be solicitors , then one more letter offering a discount then end of scam.

If you want independant legal advice then go ahead and get it. My opinion which is of course as the letter says anecdotal...is to ignore.

They may take the opportunity to take you to court. Go ahead and go to court and present your case to the judge...my bet is that you will win....but then again that's my opinion...you should seek that legal advice that they suggest.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

But should they take your advice, since it is anecdotal?

Rather than waste your time typing all that drivel from Roxburghe out here, why did you not just bung the whole 'anecdotal' sentence into Google? HUNDREDS of people have had that letter and when you read the results of other people's experiences you will know it's all a scam and very safe to ignore.

But get the exact words and spelling right in your search, use this version, simply copy & paste it into Google:

aware of anecdotal information being presented on internet on various websites and you may well feel this guidance is worth following. We strongly urge you to seek independent legal advice rather than rely

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Oh - Come-on! This is a Parking Eye thread. There are any gods amount of APCOA threads that would give you the answer or you could have bumped instead.

They are not fines at all, and can be proven to be an illegal private penalty.
