That's TomTom Mobile 6 - it won't work on this phone. You need TT Mobile 5.2

    Hmmm

Just rang Virgin twice and asked for a £19.99 reconditioned one and both times they asked if this info came off MSE or HUKD and said this info postyed was wrong and would only sell for £29.99 but would credit £10 of airtime once purchased-I declined as I know people have been getting them for £19.99 (I even said I had a SIM already)

    I may persevere!

    1) I have got teh Navman bluetooth GPS reciver mentioned in the thread as working with the lobster, how do I connect the phone to the GPS device, do i need to set comm ports.

I haven't done it but the manual page 79 tells you about BT, I think you need to setup a partnership with the Navman receiver and the Lobster to start with.

Ring tones don't seem to be very good or loud can you put more on or make them louder?

    Thanks

    Hi All

I have installed TomTom on the lobster, but i am having a couple of difficulities.

    1) I have got teh Navman bluetooth GPS reciver mentioned in the thread as working with the lobster, how do I connect the phone to the GPS device, do i need to set comm ports etc

    2) what keys do I use to select the bluetooth device in Tomtom menu?

    Any help would be great.

You need to "pair" the 2 devices first before launching TomTom first time (it will be automatic afterwards). Just enable Bluetooth on the phone and switch on the receiver. From the phone, you need to create a New BlueTooth connection after detecting the navman. Once it is discovered, pair them. It will ask for a passkey. You need to change the key setting on your phone to ABC (all capital letters - I think you need to press the * or # button to do this) and enter "NAVMAN". It will pair. Now open TomTom and under GPS settings, choose "other Bluetooth receivers" and it should automatically find it.

After this has been done, you won't need to go through it again. When TomTom is opened next time you use it, Bluetooth will be enabled and the pairing will be done automatically.

You can use WMA, MP3 or WAV files as ringtones. There are loads on the net or you can pick your favorite song and use that.
