Virgin Lobster mobile phone with built in DAB and TV

Hi all.

I've just phoned them, where i told them I had a virgin sim hoping they wouldn't ask for a number, they did saying that it would be £19.99 + £2.99 delivery.

So could I get a number of someone to use or buy one of the free simcard for using the number. I did order the free sims yesterday but I don't know how long they will take to arrive. I know somebody buys them hotukdeals for 30p each.

I'm also on NTL which is now Virgin, would this help?

What would you suggest?

Do you already have a virgin sim/number to have got it at this price?

I bought this mobile phone last night. I went into the Virgin store to take a look at it and it was marked up at a reduced price of £49.99. As I already use a PAYG Virgin sim I was entitled to a £10 discount making it £39.99. As I am registered on the Virgin mobile website I looked at my Red Bites on my account and was then entitled to a £10 upgrade so that was another reduction making the phone £29.99. I got 200 minutes and a free sim to keep as a spare or to give to someone. The sales bloke also gave me a run through of the phone but I can't remember half the stuff he was mentioning (something about yahoo to go and special effects you can do with wallpapers or something amongst other things!)

Not bad really. I really wanted a phone with radio on and the DAB is perfect for me. All in all I am very happy with the phone.

If you paid for the sim and its not there just call customer services. They are extremely helpful.

£29.99 price is with Sim

i bought the new phone at £42-98p
i thought i would have got a Sim card with it
however i have a free virgin Sim from the last time they gave them away,would this be OK to put into this phone or do i need a different Sim to get all the features on the phone

Any virgin sim will do, unless you sim-unlock the phone

Yeah I already had a payg sim with them when I ordered and they asked for it

How this for a fast delivery then
ordered the Lobster @£19.99 last night @6.00pm (Friday)

arrived at 9.15am this morning (Saturday)

You should have got a sim in the box if you paid £42.98. I did.

I would call them up and tell them you didn't get it. They are usually very good.

I bought 1 new one and then had to buy a reconditioned one for my son after he saw mine.
