This is - IMHO - possibly one of the best grabbits there's ever been, quite poss the best, because I actually got it.

The DAB on this phone is excellent. 40 channels, clear as a bell (south yorkshire). It sounds better than my in-house DAB. And I haven't even put the SIM card in yet - so everything works without a SIM. £20 for a portable DAB, with a camera, TV screen and oh yes, a mobile phone attached! My kids are both after one now.

    Big thanks to the OP!!!!!!

Just to clarify that you don't get the 200 minutes with a refurbished ones with a sim at £29.99

I tried thinking it might be in the box but no.

Now I have a choice return the new sim card, which Virgin will send me out a jiffy envelope for, and wait for the refund (approx 3 weeks total) or just keep the sim for my daughter so she can use the free £5 and get my £10 credit in 40 days.

Me and desicions not a good mix.

The refurbished one is brand new from all acounts and all the discs and pieces are there so wonderful.

    Happy happy.

If you paid for the sim and its not there just call customer services. They are extremely helpful.

    £19.99 price is without sim
    £29.99 price is with sim

That's not what V told me (if I've understood you correctly).

At £29.99, you get the refurb phone, with a sim with 200 minutes (and texts as well (- at least it was offered to me).

    £19.99 gets you the refurb only - no sim (& £2.99 p&p).

    Both are excellent bargains IMO.

  • Great phone, but dear me, the TV is terrible. *Any* movement occurs in little 'spurts', and leads to poor audio/visual sync.

That is what I thought but when I called them today I was told that is not the case and that the 200 minutes were only given out with the new phones not refurbs. I said that I thought it was with the new sims and she said its not in the nicest possbile way. (They are very well trained there)

I checked their web site and the first page says with any new phone but the second page says with any payasyougo phone, when you buy online.

Can't really argue but I would like to know if anybody got the 200 minutes with a refurbished handset.

I am still very pleased with it just wish I could make my decision.

Just to clarify that it takes Micro SD, not mini SD

So are they different things? I ordered a mini SD from ebuyer on the basis of this thread. Are you saying it won't work?
