Hello everyone
I am going for 15 NSDsthis month. As due to health reasons I'm reducing my hours at work. We're paid monthly in arrears and I want this month, to live on my expected future income. So nearly 1/2 the month on NSDs is a step in the right direction.

Err..is that cures all known ills to man or beast, or kills all know man and beast?:eek::eek:Tee hee Kerri - you go for it big time when you don't get the NSD - love it
Well, took the car for it's MOT, service and wash today with the £29 Groupon voucher I bought last week.....needed a headlight adjustment which cost me a tenner so £39 overall. I'm really pleased - it was booked for MOT and service at the wee local garage I usually use for £135 so saved £96 :j :j
That will pay for DD's driving licence that she wants for her birthday....not till May but good to know I've got the cash to pay for it.
Anyhoo....hopefully tomorrow will be NSD number 2It's Nargle's fault, i had strict instructions for a makeup bag overhaul after admitting I used eyeshadow that was 10+ yrs old
:o
Always a little wary about the Groupon service deals but might keep an eye out as mine's due in a couple of months...well not mine, my car, I'm sure I'd fail and MOT :rotfl: Only thing is that they seem miles away in comparison to the garage I use where I can drop the car and walk into work. Ps that's my lovely CLEAN carFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Today is NSD 1. Tomorrow will not be an NSD as i need to get food for work. On the plus side this month i should get a letter from my work with a little bonus for ten years service. As it is a points system rather than actual cash i can treat myself without it being a spendy day0

Well NSD # 1 today :j:j:j not sure whether I will get another one tomorrow but fingers crossed.0

April Money made - £18.000 -
Evening :hello:
MrsCautious, hugs to you.
Nargle, was so pleased to read your dad's op went well.
I am checking in with NSD 1 today after a fairly hefty spend day yesterday, including my Ancestry subscription that I cancelled a few days ago  - not sure what to do about that yet. Tomorrow should also be a NSD unless I end up at the farm shop.
Jelly, my items I placed on e-B*y didn't sell. They were brand new unwanted Christmas presents (Lush soap set, Ted Baker gift set and DKNY perfume, all sealed). Not sure why. I may relist on another free listing weekend. I am sure you did better than me with all those watchers
I have to pay the dreaded stoozing credit card on Tuesday and have scraped the money together including borrowing £55 from my parents. This means I am going to have to live off my c/c for the rest of the month. I need to have an extremely frugal 3 weeks to break the cycle for next month and repay my parents and even though they don't want the money back it's important to me that I am in a position to at least offer it next month. I know it would have been a lot worse had I not given up the ciggies so a positive amongst the negative and an incentive to carry on.
Well done to all of you who have managed to bag NSDs so far.
Hugs, thoughts and best wishes to everyone that needs them.

Well, at least all your spending resulted in a nice clean car!
I was wary about the Groupon thing too - I was worried that they would find loads of things wrong with the car so that they could increase their income and cover the reduced Groupon price. And the garage was about 10 miles from my house instead of my usual garage just down the road. Overall, well worth it though and I'd recommend itSPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -
