Kerri, your posts do make me laugh....I know I should be encouraging you to work on getting NSDs but I love the stories about how the days don't quite turn out like that :rotfl:

Anyway, very nearly had my second today but realised that my 20% off voucher for M & S expires today and using it for Mother's Day pressie....think the saving was worth sacrificing my NSD.

I'm pretty sure I'll have spends for the rest of the week now but will drop by to say hi and see how everyone else is getting along

Ahhh, thanks MissE001 - I'll be back on the NSD wagon tomorrow. Oh and one of the bloomin light bulbs I bought was a dud so that's going to have to go back anyway

Nearly forgot to report (Nargle I hope you see this)... make up bag was sorted this morning and out went:

    1 x eye shadow
    2 x eye pencils
    1 x blush gel thingy
    1 x lip gloss
    1 x face powder

prob another couple of eyeshadows and a liner should have also gone but hanging onto those atm :o All pencils sharpened and brushes washed :A

    In went:

1 x primer (trying this out as a new one to see if it sits with my skin any better than current one though will prob use them both)
    2 x eyeshadow
    1 x bronzer
    1 x concealer / eye-bag hider
    1 x face powder

Makeup bag looking much fresher :D

    Hi everyone.

Lots of NSD's in the bag - MummaF love your icons, how brill.

Despite starting this DMP on March 1 I've only achieved

    1/18 NSD:T:T:eek::eek:

Friday - succombed to nice home made cake in work cafe, did get discount but would have been cheaper to buy a choc bar
Also blew £1 on white choc cookies at the garage while fillingup with budgeted fuel:rotfl: But they were scrummy!!

Saturday, budgeted bread purchase, plus budgeted small household repair kit for toilet seat;), but since I was meeting friends for tea, & needed to get lunch bought a sarnie too so defo a spendy Saturday.

Sunday however has been a NSD Yippee for #1...and plans for number 2 tomorrow thought might be a struggle.

Skimmed through 3 days of messages as not been able to check messages since Thursday - Nargle, pleased Dad getting through well, Mrs C, aazing introduction to discombobulated - amazing word and thanks to whoever mentioned the deep see freezer, I have discovered a forgotten quiche, looking forward to tomorrows tea now:drool:

    Have a good week all,

p.s. Watching a programme about failed cosmetic surgeries...ouch ouch eucky _pale_
Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.
    Estimated DFD August 2018 - 2031 - now 2027 :T

Starting early this month - yay!

    Got my first NSD!

    1/12 NSD
    Sealed Pot Challenge No 306
  • Well I only have 1 NSD so far, had a spendy weekend although planned spends.

    However....

My hubby is on the way back from afghan as he had a fight with a quad bike and lost, so is on crutches, I know it could be worse.... He's ok, and obviously we are both glad he is coming home, but I think he is disappointed not to be finishing the tour especially as he only had 5 weeks left. I guess it is what he trains and works to do.

So my NSD's for March may be affected with him being home. :D

And it may start with me having to top up petrol tomorrow to collect him, and then groceries to feed him. But I shall keep plugging away and hope to build on my 1.

I also remember bejam.... And recently I went to my parents house and was offered arctic roll, however when looking in the freezer they didn't have any. you cannot offer someone something then not have it. :D I really fancied it then. Luckily my sister found a place that sold it as it seems to have made a comeback, and I've had it a few times since.

Well done to everyone on the NSD's. :T

  • No NSDs yet, and here I am on day four. Things are not looking good for our heroine. Today, however. Definitely! Although it'd have been looking better if I hadn't eaten my lunch for breakfast. Long day ahead, thank goodness for free biscuits in the staff kitchen.

On a completely irrelevant note, I have a party to go to Friday night to which I am supposed to bring a dish of 1940s food. 1940s! Who knew all my thrifty OS cooking ways would come in so handy!
MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028
    14 August 2017 - Refinanced: $220,000
    January 2019 $211,580 Current MFD 31 June 2036

    Evening everyone:wave:

It looks as though you’ve all been busy nabbing those NSDs today and over the weekend :T:T

    Welcome to:

:hello: charleybear - hi and welcome, Freeby will add you to the front page when she next updates it. Good luck with your 10 NSDs and 5 in a row, you can do it.
Please feel free to join in with the chat and general nonsense here, we’re a friendly bunch and if you’d like to know anything please just ask away.

Off the starting blocks with NSD no 1:

:j:j:jDelilahh - yay to your first NSD, hopefully the rest will come trotting in obediently now

:j:j:jdonna d - you’re sounding very organised, fingers crossed for lots of NSDS this month

:j:j:jPennySaving - yay to your first NSD, that’s definitely the best

:j:j:jpoohbear - there’s nothing wrong with one NSD, it’s a whole lot better than none!

:j:j:jsazzie23 - be proud of your first NSD, it’s the hardest one to nab, I’m sure the rest will come following along behind now. Freezer diving is definitely the new skip diving, hope you enjoy your quiche tomorrow

Yay to a brilliant NSD no 2:

:j:j:jbt1 - hope you’re feeling better soon.. but I do like the sound of your Sunday, very restful

:j:j:jCandlewick - well done for all the meal prep, you’re sounding very organised, and your freezer stock sounds good, definitely no shopping required.
I remember Bejam very well.. and arctic roll

:j:j:jchrisico - that’s a great start, love the sound of your organised shopping trip

:j:j:jIf - you’re doing great as always. Love today’s pic, looks just like my cat

    :j:j:jkaren - keep going, you’re doing brilliantly

    :j:j:jkatholicos - you’re on a roll, keep going now

    :j:j:jMrsCautious - you’re on a roll, keep going now

    :j:j:jnew leaf 88 - keep going, you’re doing brilliantly

    :j:j:jsf - you’re on a roll, keep going now

Woohoo to NSD no 3, you’re definitely on a roll:

:j:j:jbeanie - oh dear, sorry you’re feeling tired, hope you manage to get some rest x

    And hello to:

positivelypurple - some very good planning going on there, fingers crossed for lots of NSDs to follow. Hope you enjoyed coffee with your friend

kerri - oh dear, another NSD lost.. still there are lots of days left, you can still make your target

MissE001 - glad the saving was worth losing an NSD for and hope the spendy days this week aren’t too serious. Fingers crossed for another NSD very soon

woodbine - yay to your low spending weekend, that’s impressive

ETO - ouch, poor hubby, that sounds painful. He must be disappointed to not be able to finish the tour but it must be a relief that he’s going to be home soon

armchairexpert - don’t worry, there are loads of potential NSDs left in March, you can do it. Oooh.. 1940s food, what are you going to take?
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
