    NSD2 done. :D

Today was my first full day of new job teaching Year 1. :) It went well and the people in my immediate team seem very nice. However, I was basically ignored in the staffroom, but I was very late in to lunch (literally 10 minutes before the end of the lunch hour), so missed the chance to get involved in the conversation. I know it'll come in due course though, so no worries. Was just a bit "meh", while I wolfed my sarnie at top speed!

The class themselves seem nice. Some monkeys (as expected), but completely manageable. Didn't really do any teaching today, but am teaching 2 lessons tomorrow morning, which I've just been prepping for. I've got to get back into the habit of planning lessons! I've not done any since July! :o

I hope everyone else is doing okay. :)

Hope you enjoyed Zoooombbbaaaaahhh BMF :D

ETO - so glad your OH is home, I know it will be a dissapointment that he couldn't finish his tour but I'm sure he'll relish the extra time with you before bump arrives.

Flubberyzing - glad the new job went ok - well with the kids at least. I'm sure the other staff didn't mean to ignore you, as adults we seem to lose that childish ability to say 'Hi, I'm X, can I play with you' ..well you know what I mean. Actually I was a painfully shy child so that didn't really apply. I always this humans aren't that diff to other animals, where we need to check out the newbie before approaching - although if you find any staff members sniffing your behind tomorrow I'd be worried :rotfl:

Well great boot camp session today - boxing which I love and fine sunny (warm) weather. AND NSD #2 :j Plus found out my best friend from school is planning a visit from Oz later this year over Xmas - super excited already (makes me realise just how much I miss her, it was 'only' last summer I last saw her). All in all not a bad start to the week :D

I'm starting to get into the thought of "If its not in my purse; I don't need to spend it." As I want to cut down on spending on my card. Half of my wages has gone on other people this month -.-

I think the owner got wise to us and we got the sack but we just shrugged our shoulders and went next door to MacFisheries (remember them?) and got much nicer jobs. Saturday work was very easy to find and some of my mates had two jobs and were rolling in money!!

I do indeed Chris, I had a Saturday job there for a while until I got fed up of smelling of fish  Saturday jobs were indeed very easy to find in those days....

    Evening All :hello:,

Reporting NSD number 3 today :j...very happy about it. It did take some determination as I wanted something sweet today, but insisted and stayed at home, actually fell asleep on the sofa :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:... best way how to avoid unnecessary spending.
Good night all and have a fab day tomorrow.
