    Have a great weekend folks!

I was just thinking last week that someone was missing... and it's Red, thanks marmite (memory is not what it used to be:o:o). He was having a busy time of it with the job and his mum recovering, maybe RL has just taken over......

Hope you have a good weekend too

Thank you everyone for the good wishes, it really is appreciated, we've enjoyed a Chinese and raised a glass, in the spirit of this thread, I'd like to point out my mother in law paid. :)
I had to pay for hospital parking but the appointments were for my girls who missed a play at school which would have cost me £2 for each of them. Can't just be me tight enough to be miffed by all this putting your hand in your pocket for school! Saved money by them not going.
Good luck for the weekend everyone, I'm hoping to last until at least Tuesday now without paying for anything xxx
  • Thanks very much for adding me to the challengers list.

I am happy to declare today as NSD #1. I was determined to get one today as will be out spending money tomorrow and Sunday more than likely!

Hope everyone has a good weekend

Big hugs from me too MrsC, glad you all had a bit of a get together to support each other, chinese and a glass of vino sounds like a lovely way to celebrate MrC's b'day and remembering him together xx

Well started the month off with a sprightly NSD #1 :j boot camp this lunchtime which kept me out of town and frankly too knackered to think about doing much else. This last few weeks has really caught up with me.

Hey folks, i've asked this on the up your income board but thought I'd ask you too, has anyone used this site / company before?

    http://www.cashforclothing.org.uk/

I have some old clothes that really aren't worth selling at car boots etc as they are past their best and really only good for textile recycling - some have bleach marks on etc. Most cash for clothes sites state they will only accept good quality items and this is the only one I can find that doesn't seem fussy.

i'm not expecting much for the bags but anything is better than nothing and if they go off for recycling its got to be better than landfill.

Similarly, if anyone can recommend any companies which do this on the Berks / Bucks boarder area that would be fab x
