• LOL @ mrs-moneypenny selling her kidneys - not heard that in ages.

Heading off for work in 20 mins so just clocking in to see what needs to be done when I get in tonight. May not achieve much therefore, but I'm with you all in spirit. I know I have to attack the kids hair if I do nothing else.

Go, ladies, GO !!!!!!

Have a lovely day

Morning!

Oh lordy my alarm didn't go off! I remember setting it too, as I popped it in then changed to 15min earlier. Yowsers. And on the one day the alarm doesn't go off, my two little human alarms slept in too  never mind...

So, am here at the paid stuff, although boss is surprised as he thought I wasn't in (:hmm: could have stayed in bed then?). Anyway, paid stuff till about 3, then when I get home I want to get my little carry-on case down from the loft and start packing.

Tried my dress on last night for MIL and she said it was lovely :T so am happy with what I need to pack and no last minute 's lol.

LR tidy, will do floors tonight, and MIL said she might do some ironing after she's been for a browse on the high street, hurrah!

Catch you all later on.
Mwah.

Dw loaded, kitchen s & s, recycling out. Floor to mop later after dg walk - absolutley no point in doing so before.
Sister came down yesterday and we cleared my study which is my Office. Yes it was a 2 man job. Yes it did take all day. But it looks lovely in here today. Now to get on with some work.....

Morning all.

Woken up full of cold, aching and really tired so I'm changing my plans for today. I'm going to concentrate on clearing the ironing pile while I watch some TV and I need to read "The boy in the striped pyjamas" asap as DD is starting it in school next week and I said I'd read it first after hearing how upsetting it is and before we watch the film.

I'm going to do the grocery/bank/card shop tomorrow in town and I can't leave it any later as DD needs stuff for cookery on Thursday morning :o Email, finances, and other computer based stuff is done, so I guess I best start the ironing after another coffee to warm me up. ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Mrs-Moneypenny so sorry to hear about DS's bike but let's hope that the police can track down whoever pinched it and that it gets returned to you in good condition. People are so scummy sometimes it makes me . You're doing some quality multi-tasking this morning!

Bossy glad you got into work OK despite your alarm not going off and that MIL thinks your dress looks great. Always nice to get someone else liking it too isn't it.

Dropped the kids off to school and today carried a tray of potted cucumbers for gardening club so no palm trees unlike yesterday. They've ended up keeping the palm tree as a prop so good result. Here's my list for today:

Tuesday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and study/Family Room or similar
Basic Flying

Clear the floors and hoover them –
just need to do stairs and landing as did rest yesterday

15 minutes tidying this area
Dust any fluffy surfaces
Deep Cleaning
Remove any marks from the walls/paintwork - the magic erasers work well
Go on a cobweb hunt, is it dusty behind your desk
Decluttering
Delete some emails, favourites, blurry photos you choose
Sort out a stationery or desk drawer - do you need all those rubber bands and envelopes

My jobs (sloping writing = work stuff):
Tuesday
Typing x 3
WM – darks
Party wall work – Islington
Ironing
Go to Mr T and get stuff I can’t get at Mr A or Mr L!

Non-flying related question:
Does anyone else find their skin gets really itchy at this time of year? Not sure if it's to do with the central heating. I'm even thinking of changing our washing powder/condition and will get some acqueous cream when out for washing with. Driving me mad

Funny you should mention it, and funny this should be my first post in an age...but yes, I am itching like mad at the moment! I thought it was the combination of central heating and it being cold and drying out side ( plus I'm peri-menopausal and thought my hormones may be doing a number on my skin!) I'm going around like Cassandra? in Dr Who..."Moisturise me, moisturise me!"

I actually popped in to say thank you for whoever did that ironing challenge to start 2013 with an empty ironing basket. I did it, and although the ironing has started to fight back, as a family we're still a couple of days ahead of it all...and I'm grateful for that...but slightly ashamed that it's taken me until nearly March to post about it :rotfl:
• Morning all, dailies underway and will have a look at the list when I log on to the laptop later.... Hope everyone is ok, I'll catch up with thread later too. Off for a coffee with a friend now so back later... Cake :)
