I'm in again. Havent read this weeks thread yet.

Had a meeting 9.30am so S&S everywhere including Miss Muddy Paws prints on the outside of the front windows and door.

'Have caught up with DS1 holiday washing apart from salopettes. Not sure if I wash them they wont be water repellant any more. Mentioning DS1 he hasn't been to school :o. He could hardly stand up this morning and has only got up when forced for food and medicines. I'm very strict with attendance but couldn't drag him there. He said he felt ill not tired. I'm making him stay up until bedtime and hope he will be at school tomorrow.

No tap for me tonight DH is at the docs.

Didn't come back after my HHI this morning as only had a couple of bits left after and thought I might as well finish until I realised the time and had to rush to work!!!
Went to MrT's for some stuff, came back unpacked and put away shopping, had something to eat, then back up the school, home, deflea DD, cook dinner, eat dinner, had a visit from Mum, checked through DD's hair after she had rinsed the stuff off. It got rid of some but she still has a few.........head full of conditioner tomorrow, she will be pleased!!!

Going to have a catch up with the thread after doing OH's food.............

D'oh, wrote this half hour ago and forgot to press post!!!

Going to read through thread now OH is fed.........

    not posting?!?!?!?!? Trying again............

    Hi all.

I have some good news myself, if you'll indulge me; I had a letter from DWP today - they've put me into the Support group, with no further hoops of fire to jump through.:T:T:T A huge weight off my mind, as I was absolutely dreading having to attend a face-to-face interview.:o

That's really good news for you; pleased to hear it :)

    So who's mopped then? I have :p

    Me too *smug smile*!

Following some excellent advice from a Pet Nutrition Advisor, I have instigated a completely new regime for Dog, as I had yet more carpet scrubbing to do this morning. We will know overnight if it's worked - fingers crossed. She knows something's up, too.

I've just changed Pip from Royal Canin Hypoallergenic which cost an arm and a leg and put her onto Burns Potato & Pork for sensitive tums which, so far, seems fine and is much cheaper than the veterinary stuff. Hope it works out for you. Oh, and good luck with the lodger too!!

Done everything from my list apart from the decluttering of winter fur but quite up together on that front ;)! Need to have a quick tidy of lounge ready for friends at 7.45, get DS into shower and then bed time for him and DD (though she'll get to see my friends). Very proud of her - she cooked her own tea of poached egg, beans and bacon; really growing up :(

I'm in this week. Thanks for the lists Dusty and Natty.

As with a fair few other flyladies mopping the kitchen floor (and the hall which I do at the same time) is the worst job for me too, but I have done it today!!!

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying

Clean the sink, drainer and taps
    Deep Cleaning
    Clean the extractor hood

Only two jobs left to do, but they probably won't get done today now as I'm taking DD1 to youth club in a bit and then going to my friends to help her do her tax return. Yes, it is a bit late, but that's what happens the the tax office don't bother to send the correct information out despite numerous phone calls!!

Just sitting down with a coffee while DH is bathing DD2 so a few minutes peace to read the thread. Bliss!!

ETA: Lovely news Ionafan - glad she had a smooth delivery

  • Flying has come to a stand still after the Mopping - courtesy of my ribbitting Sister and a froggy text on my mobile - had to pull all the Estate paperwork out to send her an email to confirm something I had sent by text last week - as much as I appreciate my dear Dad gifting me something after his passing trying to sort it out with my sister is proving more like a golden noose to hang myself with - just pleased I talked my Dad out of using a solicitor as sole executor at £175 per hour as the way my sister has argued and debated every letter, comma and full stop there would be nothing left.:mad::mad:

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying
[STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor - could't let the mop brigade down [/STRIKE] :j
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe table

Clean the sink, drainer and taps - currently having its hours soak in bubbles and bleach ready for a scrub and buff with a towel

    Deep Cleaning
Clean the extractor hood and splashback
Clean the hob, under all the dials too

    Decluttering
[STRIKE]Sort out a hotspot[/STRIKE] out of date coupons lobbed, current ones and healthy start veggy vouchers put in purse
[STRIKE]Sort out all your vases - are there any to rehome[/STRIKE] nope, but I have two empty ones, time to get whoopsied flowers and treat myself
[STRIKE]Do you have any pet pest control you may need for when the bugs awaken?[/STRIKE] yep, all out in shed, more ant poison put on shopping list as spotted two little blighters in porch yesterday:mad:
[STRIKE]Charge that epilady or warm your wax, it's time to declutter your winter fur.[/STRIKE] done on Sunday :money: soap and razor - good for another month or so :rotfl:

Abject failure on the kitchen front. Floor not mopped, nothing done. Hey ho. It'll all have to be carried over until tomorrow because I'm cream-crackered.

OH has just told me the wretched lodger spied the washing machine and asked if she could use it. He said it was ooo and the engineer was coming tomorrow to fix it (sort of true and true), but that she could get her washing done and dried where she works for £1.50 a load. She said, 'I'd much rather get it done here.' Honestly, the amount people expect for £85 astonishes me.
    Better is good enough.
  • Hi all

I have mopped the kitchen & bathroom floors :T the mop is now sat in diluted bleach to kill the nasties. I was 'assisted' by the kitten, actually she was more like an overseer!

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying
    - done :)
    Deep Cleaning
Clean the extractor hood and splashback - no extractor or splash back

    Decluttering
Sort out all your vases - are there any to rehome - one can go to CS
Charge that epilady or warm your wax, it's time to declutter your winter fur.
    - shave weekly, too scared to wax or epilate

    In addition

    BM on
    DW done & emptied
WM on & clothes to be put on maiden before bed.

    Ionafan congratulations on DGS3
LW fab news seems DWP have actually got something right!

    Evening all

Just managed to get online, pretty full on day here. Been at paid stuff, finally got laptop back :T and it works too :rotfl: kitchen and dining room done, and after tots went to bed, I got the sewing machine out, MIL unpicked my first attempt at handbag for me and I remade same as the second (which was much better put together). So both me and my friend have a snazzy little tartan bag for our Edinburgh party weekend :rotfl:
