Me too! Today's achievements:
gym classes x 2
wm x 2
folded and put away dry washing from Sunday
refilled bird feeders
did non-dw washing up
bit of a tidy round kitchen (still one hot spot but not in mood for it)
swept and mopped kitchen floor
watered all house plants
fevver-dustered kitchen ceiling and captured a few
birdie alertWas distracted a few times by the little fairies who are now getting brave enough to check out the fat balls hung right outside the kitchen window. Very happy to be distracted by them, tried to take a few photos but they're so small, fluffy and active I'm not sure what I achieved.
Now time for a :coffee:, after which I need to do a supermarket shoptho OH said he'd come as it's a big one , do a bit of guitar practice and do a final check on the report which has taken me forever, as the assessee is coming round to discuss it tomorrow.
Have also started a 'OneNote' folder on anything I come across to do with starting a business/going freelance, in the hope that I won't sit and read stuff for hours when I should be doing something else, but I'll just dump it in the folder and schedule it properly. That's the theory anyway.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
I'm making gingerbread men as I can't be bothered to fly! DS3 will be pleased.
Narco had a woodpecker (green one) hopping around the garden yesterday, so pretty. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
birdie alert Question: how do I upload a photo? it wants a url and at the moment the photo is on my computer. I've managed to upload it as my avatar, but it's minuscule.........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0

I've heard a few whilst out walking Pip but am yet to see one. They are lovely birds.

Yes they are. We see them flying round a fair bit, but they tend to stop in next door's garden for some reason. We do have the occasional visit from a greater spotted on our feeder, but I haven't seen it lately - nor the sparrowhawk.
Off to start dinner off now but at least I've done another survey while I've been sitting here.............Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Funny you should mention it, and funny this should be my first post in an age...but yes, I am itching like mad at the moment! I thought it was the combination of central heating and it being cold and drying out side ( plus I'm peri-menopausal and thought my hormones may be doing a number on my skin!) I'm going around like Cassandra? in Dr Who..."Moisturise me, moisturise me!"
I actually popped in to say thank you for whoever did that ironing challenge to start 2013 with an empty ironing basket. I did it, and although the ironing has started to fight back, as a family we're still a couple of days ahead of it all...and I'm grateful for that...but slightly ashamed that it's taken me until nearly March to post about it :rotfl:
Re the skin thing - that's a resounding YES!!!!! For the last 2/3 years I have struggled, often ending up with steroid cream from the GP....
.......Until this month, which is my first on HRT! The improvement in my skin is outstanding!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

That could be me too then cos I've been showing signs of being perimenopausal (thinks that's the right word). At least all the stuff will help too; last year GP recommended acqueous cream and that made it not quite so bad.
Got another typing job done so only 1 left now thankfully.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
