Hello flyladies and gents. I'm kind of in again this week, thanks for list, but absolutely no mopping done yet.

    Ionafan - congratulations

I have just about been keeping up with dailies as paid stuff is silly busy as its year end for us, and from the list, I have sorted the stationery drawer and sorted out a pile of papers. So paid stuff again, really!

Hope you all have a great evening.

    Evening all.

Just about to put tea on so thought I'd pop in and see if there was anything I could cross off my list.... and I don't think there's much! :o

Spent the afternoon ironing and have cleared about half the pile (all DD's except for 3 school blouses) and cleared a number of programmes from the freeview box. I've finished glueing stuff, started writing my shopping list and updated my eb@y fees spreadsheet (which I actually thought I had deleted) so I'm ready to go there once I can get my backside into gear to take photos etc. DD has washed up, and we're going to sit and watch something together while we have tea.

    Personal:
Ironing - will carry on later, half gone.
Big shop - either online or make list! - website playing up, in person it is then!
    Bank
Card shop - no luck with card at Mr A's. Going to try a card shop near my bank instead. ;)

    Work:
    Replacements/Returns
    Deliveries
    Book list for Thursday
Type up trial account sheet - maybe this method will work?!?

    Monday - Kitchen
    Basic Flying

Sweep and mop the floor - couldn't let the mop brigade down :D
Clean the sink, drainer and taps

Tuesday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and Livingroom
    Basic Flying

Clear the floors and hoover them
    Dust any fluffy surfaces
    Deep Cleaning
Remove any marks from the walls/paintwork - the magic erasers work well
Give keyboard and mouse a good clean
    Go on a cobweb hunt

Right, off to heat up tea. :D
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

We have been out all day visiting new DGS3. It's normally a 2¼-hour drive over there, but we did a detour via Corby to pick up a camera for DDiL1 as DS1 could only find 3 Arg0s stores on our route to the West Midlands or near our home town that had the camera in stock, currently at half price We did manage to get one :D :money:

Had lunch with DS2 and DDiL2 and long cuddles with DGS3 who is little and dainty with lots of dark hair like his mum, then home again. Worth every drop of diesel :)

DH made comments about me being OCD about cleaning when I insisted on getting the house tidy and dusted *and even* with the kitchen *and* bathroom floors properly washed over and wiped before we went out, but he stopped moaning when the agent rang just before we left to ask about showing 3 separate prospective buyers round today while we were out :T

We saw no less than 7 red kites (of the bird variety!) flying together over the A43 :j - that was nearly as good as seeing DGS3 ;)

Hope you got on OK at the hospital, LW.

Glad you had such a great day Ionafan. I'm done now for today, have just cleared away after tea and my plan is to get up early tomorrow morning to try to do some flying before the paid stuff.

    Evening!

Just chased DD back to bed and put her socks back on. They had a trip out from nursery and she fell asleep on the way back so had a 40min nap. Great. Oh well.

Not a lot to do tonight, we are in ship-shape thanks to MIL (she's even topped up the fruit bowl) lord knows what we'll be like in two weeks though, as they are away on holiday in a couple of days so we will have to fend for ourselves :D

It's taken me 20min to type this as I really can't think what I'm supposed to be telling you...

Where's tomorrow's list? I'll be wfh but might sneak out for a few bits of groceries.

Woken up full of cold, aching and really tired so I'm changing my plans for today. I'm going to concentrate on clearing the ironing pile while I watch some TV and I need to read "The boy in the striped pyjamas" asap as DD is starting it in school next week and I said I'd read it first after hearing how upsetting it is and before we watch the film.

Nicki - I didn't think the film was as graphic as the book to be honest and I think this goes for most books/films as books have to describe things in great detail to get their point across. This is also true of the film Seven with Brad Pitt - the book is horrific in it's description of the delivery of the 7 deadly sin punishments, but the film leaves it more to your imagination. Hope this helps.

Only managed WM x 1 and pegging out today I'm afraid. Kids are upstairs taking turns to shower before I attack them with the nit comb, but judging by the sounds/squeals, I think they are having a water fight instead!

OH has finished decorating the utility and he and DS have put the kitchen back together now and squared everything up before I got in from work and they have even MOPPED THE FLOOR!!!!! :T:T:T

Unexpected day off tomorrow (stuffed it all into 1 day today) so will catch up with you all on the flying.

My skin is dry as a bone too but I just thought it was because I've spent all weekend with a cold blowing my nose, which has left me with cracked lips and a split in my nose, sorry TMI. I'm being assessed for perimenopause too atm so perhaps it could be that, who knows?

Re the skin thing - that's a resounding YES!!!!! For the last 2/3 years I have struggled, often ending up with steroid cream from the GP....

.......Until this month, which is my first on HRT! The improvement in my skin is outstanding!

Ahhh yes that makes sense... I had one round of steroid cream myself last year.....I'm going to try lots of moisturising and take some Omega 3 supplements.

Got to drag myself back in the kitchen, noticed my veggie burgers have an expiry date of today. I'll cook them and put them in sandwiches tomorrow!
