A quick update before I get cracking with the paid stuff. I've dusted our bedroom, hoovered through the house and done all applicable jobs on today's bathroom list (except mopping, no mopping done here this week yet). Oh and two washloads to put on airers later.

    Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Back from school cycle and shattered! It was really tough this morning! I hope that doesn't mean I'm coming down with anything :( Large glass of water and a banana consumed so will hopefully begin to feel the post exercise energy lift soon.... Anyway, kettle boiling so will make coffee and log on for a look at the list and update :)
  • Ofcourse you can. Remember you are the most likely person to change things for your own benefit ;):D

I love this! I'm going to put it on a post-it on the kitchen notice board; thank you Dusty :A

The yoghurt worked - 2 litres now sitting in fridge.

Hoping to get the basics done in the bathroom and everywhere mopped through today but my main aim is to spend many hours studying today DD2 is on a school trip today so doesn't need picking up until 7pm ish so will put something in SC for tea and that gives me lots of extra time to study :D
I'm feeling a bit more energised after the cycle this morning (and too cups of coffee :D ) so going to go and do bathroom and then have a shower, and then do some studying!!! :D
I hope everyone has a good day and hugs and best wishes to those that need a little TLC ((hugs)) Cake x
  • Morning  Brrrrr - it's ten degrees colder here this morning than yesterday - minus 3!!!!!!!! Was quite happy driving about yesterday at 7 degrees (peaked at 11 degrees at one point!)

Anyway, DD now decluttered to school and I've brought all my admin - paperwork, bills, bank card, phone and a cuppa back to bed as it's warmer here than the study and I'm gonna do HHA in a mo.

I've made a commitment to myself that

    (a) I will do ALL the lists today - optimistic, I know, but I like a challenge!
    (b) I will write up my shopping list and purchase it all tonight whilst DD is at Brownies and take the recycling to the centre too.

On another thread last night I posted a veggie meal plan as OH is saying he wants to reduce his meat, although whenever I do a few veggie things he says "this would be nice with a bit of meat in it" However, I have a cunning plan (call me Baldrick!) I have created a veggie meal week and won't tell them. I've mixed it up texture-wise so it's not all "bean stuff in a tomato sauce" and I'll see if they actually notice. :rotfl:

Right, enough waffle. I'm going to start my first HH and hopefully report back at 10.30 that all my bills are paid; a frog email has been dispatched and my finances are up-to-date.

    Anyone free to join me?

    Come on, TMD - FOCUS!!!!!!!!

Another HH on paperwork, lots of people don't have council tax or water bills to pay this month (usually 10/12 payments). Can you save any of this extra cash, pay off a bill etc. - my extra is going towards paying off my overdraft..Aiming to make it into the black by Oct 29th which will be the 5 year anniversary from when I went into my overdraft and haven't managed to climb out yet! :o BUT I also have savings to cover celebrations/school/clothing which I transfer back in to my bank when I spend it :D I love my virtual envelopes :rotfl:

Right, off to do a rough "this is how much per kg meat is" list so I can have a mooch in the 2 butchers I'll pass today and see if its cheaper to go there than the supermarket. Doubtful, but I can at least look. I'd love to have a go at doing rabbit which I know some butchers round here do, but DD refuses to eat Thumper so it'd have to be disguised :o;) I've told her straight she's already eaten Bambi, least she can do is try Thumper :rotfl::rotfl:
