Thanks everyone for your support and understanding, this is the "easy bit", as in the fullness of time when Mum passes (she is 4 years older than my Dad) the house will have to sold, but not until it has had 3 weeks full time flying and decluttering, followed by a good lick of paint.
Busy day tomorrow with Glucose Tolerance Test for me, followed by DD3 having tooth extracted ready for braces,(the letter with address and phone number on is missing, so I need to ring around for the details in the morning). I might have to do my room rather than tackle DD2 room, but we shall see how we go:o

Good morning everyone
Minimal flying done yesterday morning - just a quick S&S all round the house before I had to go out at 8:45, but it was enough to put back the sparkle; also 1x WM which I hung out in the afternoon sunshine
Said sunshine then showed up all the streaks on the south-facing windows, so I had to do some extra cleaningand clambering up and down stepladders made my knee painful again
I have been running at high speed for the past few weeks and yesterday the broken nights and early mornings finally caught up with me, so I slept most of the rest of the afternoon and evening and still managed not to wake up until 6:00 this morning
My DH left the hot tap in the kitchen running for about 15 minutes yesterday evening before I heard it, and this morning I have gone into the garage and found that he left not only the light but also the convector heater on all night. I have told him the mice sent their thanks for the heat and light and he replied, "I haven't seen any signs of mice." I am not amused
On the bright side, the sun is shining already, the little tête-à-tête narcissi on the patio are nearly out, and the garden is full of snowdrops. It's going to be a beautiful, if cold, day.
(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all who need them, especially Skint Breeder and Wendywitch.0 -
Morning all
Bit of the paid stuff to do this afternoon and an earl meeting tonight.
Concentrating on getting the dining room/office tidy and cleaned this morning and I need to buy some milk at some point.
DH not having a good day, bike flat tyre, broke the side door window trying to get the other bike. His car has had a flat for weeks.
Right DS3 is out of the shower so it's my turn. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
