I had a talk with DH last night and we have come to the conclusion that my depression is rearing it's head again, especially as I showing the same signs as I was a few years ago when I was heading downwards - house not being tidied, piles of stuff in corners, washing not being done etc... So I am going back to baby steps again, although knowing me it will be gigantic baby steps..lol Any help from others will be appreciated, i.e. encouragement etc.. :D

    Sticks for those naughty bd's

Had a good sort, dust, vac upstairs this morning, and we've all had a haircut. Kiddies did really well. DS is always good but DD had a hissy fit last time, so was surprised when she let our (male) hairdresser lift her into the chair. She didn't make eye contact but sat very nicely whilst she had a trim. They both look by sweet. And they played nicely and had a fruit string whilst I had mine chopped too!

After a quick scrambled egg lunch I turfed them out in the garden and made a start on the kitchen. DW emptied, WM filter checked, DW refilled, toaster crumb tray emptied and toaster shaken  could have made another loaf from all the bits I think :rotfl:. I then had a sort in the kiddie shelf, mostly DD hair bobbles and children's medicines. All tidy now and some old stuff binned.
Also got into the baking cupboard and reorganised to make more room, instead of two shelves there is now room for a snack shelf for when mum takes over tomorrow. They have raisins, fruit strings, crumpets, drinks, pears and some cheese, yoghurt and chicken in the fridge. That's plenty to grab and take along to wherever they are planning to go.
Kiddies back indoors now, but have been out a while with the mini diggers in the sand table. Now we have the fire on and are watching Nemo.

    Need to:
    Finish packing my case
Put some bits together in case they sleep at mums
Decide what I'm going to wear to travel in

    Getting excited.

I have done the dailies except the ironing, I may get some done later when DD is in Brownies.
Unfortunately I haven.t done any decluttering today either. Hoping tomorrow will be better. If I come straight back home from the school run in the morning, I may have a better chance!!
