A pants afternoon - I have achieved practically nothing except eventually finding an order form and cheque that I had hidden out of sight of visitors, but had forgotten where I'd put them!

We had half planned on going out this afternoon to a local auction house to take an item that I want to sell, but when I checked on their website it turned out that they have a sale tomorrow and it is a viewing day today, so no valuations until next week.

The only other thing that I have achieved since lunch is getting a copy of the newspaper with the £5 Ald1 voucher in it.

At least DH has packed a couple of crates of stuff today... He is in work tomorrow so I hope to make better progress on my own, especially as we shall get up a bit earlier. I am definitely a morning person :)

Delurking to say Happy Birthday(ish) to Kazmeister

I think it sums up the current state of affairs in the Hex household when I can't remember which bin needs to go out tomorrow!

Yes hex it is Friday tomorrow.

    Happy birthday to kazmeister!

I don't know where this week has gone. My feet haven't touched the ground. Minimal flying I'm sorry to say just doing the dailies really.

DH was away last night in Manchester due back today. He rang at lunchtime to tell me he would be away again tonight to sort out some crisis at work. I'm not impressed. DD2's birthday party is on Saturday and I need some help, he has informed me he will be out all morning at a school football match with DS2. I've told him to stop being a taxi for the team and to think of his DD for once. He doesn't want to let them down but is perfectly happy to abandon me to preparing a party for 30 6/7 year olds.

DD2 is so excited about her forthcoming birthday she may burst. I hope her party lives up to her expectations.

Could I possibly request a few Flylady vibes for tomorrow at 11.20? If you could send my doctor accurate aim so he can sort my shoulder out, that would be great. Won't go into details so as not to wobble people :D

Then, if the gods are with me, I'll be able to change a duvet cover without swearing:rotfl:

    Happy Birthday Kaz!!
Well done on getting into the support group LW. I am like Natty still waiting and terrified of having to go through yet another application process. I feel as though they have forgotten me too. I can but hope,

I haven't managed any flying as have had a major flare up and am feeling carp.

  • Well .....................

Flying at home - Washing out on line.

    In my working day:

    First house - AM
Stripped 3 doubles, 1 kingsize and 1 Superking bed (remade SK one)
Cleaned ensuite bathroom, shower room, bathroom, WC room and a fully equipped bathroom. Hoovered completely through downstairs, cleaned kitchen floor.

    Second house - PM
Cleaned, dusted and hoovered spare bedroom.
    Hoovered landing
    Cleaned and hoovered bathroom
    Stiff-brushed the stairs
Polished and hoovered sitting room and hallway
    Cleaned kitchen floor.

Home now - dinner cooked and eaten. Washing folded and put away. Kids nitchecked.

..... now too pooped to even think about doing any flying here!

Working all day tomorrow, so looks like Saturday before this spot is shipshape.

At least I have ticked LOADS off the lists, even if it was someone else's house (sigh).

Hugs to those who need them

    Happy Birthday Kazmeister

    Happy Birthday KazmHShappybirthdaynotes.gif

I reckon if I slipped the Valli pins into them boots I would be fighting 'em off! ;)

two dustbunnies spotted in wine rack (sort of built in wooden affair, like a doorless cupboard) so they were swooshed up the vacuum. Washed this morning, pegged it out, came home from work ironed it and it's airing now. HM soup made in SC so teas was ready when I walked in.

    Work again tomorrow (boo)
LW - woot for the decision
Ionafan - woot for the little early baby and an easy arrival!

Been to Morries, got petrol (reduced because I bought my sister gift cards for her birthday) and got a pork loin joint for £1.49 yellow stickered (was about £5.50 - enough for us 3)! That's gone in the freezer!

Have had genius money saving 'idea'. I normally top my phone up in Boots (don't use it massively and it's PAYG) because I get advantage points. Well - if I buy a Boots giftcard in Morries, to take to Boots to pay for the top up I can also get 1p off a litre of fuel for every £10 so a double bonus!
