Happy St David's Day to all Welsh Flyfamilies! DH has gone off to work wearing a Marie Curie daffodil as I only have trimmed leeks in the fridge at present, which wouldn't be quite right!

It's Friday, I was up at five o'clock, and I'm already ***********ed - enter name of well-known children's TV programme from the 60s and 70s, if you can remember that far back ;)

I have already crossed most of the flying off the list as DONE. Now I just need to S&S bathroom, make bed and open bedroom curtains, check that everything upstairs is spotless, then dust and hoover downstairs. Everything is tidy :) There are a couple of things to do in the garden, but it's raining at present so they can wait until later. Anyway, I need to get on with my other work - can't put it off any longer, or it will turn into a whole pondful of frogs.

Anyone want to join me in a HHC from 8.30?

    Morning all :D

Been MIA due to a little too much walking on Wednesday :o I left here at midday, jumped the bus to the bank, had a walk around a number of charity shops etc in the area and got new batteries in 2 of the 3 watches of DD's (just one now that might be a jewellers job as they couldn't get the back off it in the shoe-repair place), then jumped the bus into town to have a quick mooch round wilkos sale which was basically empty shelves! I also decided to have a look for gargoyles & grotesque's on the buildings for DD's art homework. A text from DD said she wanted to come home rather than meet me in town, so I popped back home and convinced her to go into town with me to gargoyle hunt...3 hours later we jumped the bus home. When I got in I couldn't walk properly as my foot was hurting after twisting it on some cobbles plus I walked 6.5 miles that day when normally I'll walk about a mile if I'm lucky :o Anyways yesterday I had paid stuff to do, so hobbled round that twice and that was all I could manage as my foot was so sore. :(

Today I plan on catching up with stuff after hardly flying last week with it being half-term and then hardly doing anything this week due to work ;) TD already on, have another 3 loads to do before DD gets home from school, then I'll have another. Nearly finished my 2nd coffee so I'm going to do a HHC at 9am ;)

    Personal:
    Ironing
Fix Worktop protector. Foot is on windowsill
    Fix oven door handle

    Work:
    Replacements/Returns
Type up trial account sheet - maybe this method will work?!?
HH de-logo cards (its a criminal offence to use a particular logo after 31st March so I'm working on blacking it out completely on all my stockpiled stuff rather than paying to replace them, only about 700 to do!)

    Monday - Kitchen
    Basic Flying

Sweep and mop the floor - couldn't let the mop brigade down :D
Clean the sink, drainer and taps

Tuesday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and Livingroom
    Basic Flying

    hoover floors
    Dust any fluffy surfaces
    Deep Cleaning
Remove any marks from the walls/paintwork - the magic erasers work well
Give keyboard and mouse a good clean
    Go on a cobweb hunt

Wednesday - Bathroom and airing cupboard
    Basic Flying

    Clean toilet, sink, shower/bath
    Hoover and wash bathroom floor
    Clean mirrors
    Wipe any dusty surfaces/window ledges
    Deep Cleaning
Give the tiles a good wash and shine
    Clean your grouting
    Deal with any mould

    Decluttering
Declutter one of your 'products' onto your body/face/hands as appropriate and have HH me time

Thursday - Bedrooms - you choose which one
    Basic Flying

    HHI (if you iron)
    Deep Cleaning
Wipe the window ledges and clean a window or two
    Hoover your curtains and blinds
    Dust lightshades and bulbs

Friday - End of week roundup
    Basic Flying

Hoover anywhere not done or that needs redoing
Change any bedding left to do - sunday job
    Empty all the bins
Dust tv screens and anywhere you've missed
    Deep Cleaning
    Wipe some paintwork
    Spot clean a carpet rug
    Wash throws or cushions

Oopps, off to do a HHC in the kitchen, which will mostly be washing up!

About 80 miles north of London up the A1. It's only a bit of drizzle, but my hair's drying curly! Must get some of mine decluttered too. Note to self: "Ring hairdresser."

The WM is now on, and I am just having a :coffee: whilst waiting for the spot cleaner to dry a bit before hoovering the carpet. Otherwise all flying from the list is complete for today :D

The Famous Five (as opposed to the Magnificent Seven - don't know what's happened to the other two today) are doing acrobatics in the garden. My NN has one of those freestanding bird feeding stations which she has planted well away from the fence in an attempt to prevent the squirrels jumping onto it. She appears to have forgotten that they can run along even the thin branches of the overhanging trees :rotfl:

Right, glue gun and scissors are laid out ready - today, among other things, I am making 2 more wedding cake toppers. Might post another photo later!

Well I've tied up the bathroom binning empty tubs etc DD has left on the shelves again  put WM on with towels, washed up a batch of crockery & cutlery leaving pans and all the tupplewear DD decided to use for cookery yesterday for the next lot (Why use 3 small tupperwear tubs to weigh things out then you end up putting them in bags anyway as they won't fit in the bigger box?!?!!?), wiped down all the sides, and put some stray items away. Just having 15min with a coffee before I do a bit of paid stuff and tackle upstairs. ;) I will get the place cleaned today ;)
