    Happy Birthday Kazm x

Kitchen bin cleaned and disinfected (frog)
Windows opened wide as sun was shining.
    Cobwebs hoovered
    Kitchen door cleaned
    Ground floor henried

Lunch with best friend at garden centre & tested my sat nav in her car as it won't charge in mine. It works in hers so I'm confused as my tyre pumper works from my cigar lighter socket but this sn won't.

Yes hex it is Friday tomorrow.

    Happy birthday to kazmeister!

I don't know where this week has gone. My feet haven't touched the ground. Minimal flying I'm sorry to say just doing the dailies really.

DH was away last night in Manchester due back today. He rang at lunchtime to tell me he would be away again tonight to sort out some crisis at work. I'm not impressed. DD2's birthday party is on Saturday and I need some help, he has informed me he will be out all morning at a school football match with DS2. I've told him to stop being a taxi for the team and to think of his DD for once. He doesn't want to let them down but is perfectly happy to abandon me to preparing a party for 30 6/7 year olds.

DD2 is so excited about her forthcoming birthday she may burst. I hope her party lives up to her expectations.

Hope the party goes OK - my DS was 21 today!!!!

Seriously I've been there - parties with not much help in advance! Are you having it out or at home? (shudders at the prospect of 30 kids at home!) If nothing else make sure your games are planned in advance! Both my DD's did mainly parties at home and we varied the games to include both quiet and more noisy ones. If I can be of any help please feel free to PM me...

Well what a lazy mare I have been this week :o
think this is my first time posting. Mostly just doing the dailies. I have had a throbbing head on and off all week, work has been pretty dire although there is light at the end of the tunnel. By the time I have done tea, washed up and done the packed lunches I am dead on my legs. Tonight though I have tried to catch back up and I have cleaned the downstairs loo and changed the towel and put out new soap (l'occitane - very posh!), hoovered downstairs, WM and TD x1. I am going to S & S the kitchen and maybe HHI then earlyish night as DH away.

Happy birthday Kaz and hugs to all harbouring BD and other nasties.

Late night at work yesterday, got home to find OH had totally cleaned and tidied lounge as he knew student I've just assessed plus parents were coming round for feedback. And while they were here, he cooked dinner. Lovely man :lovethoug

My first ever sell on eb&y has got 3 watchers; how exciting.
Not much flying for me as another late work then slobbed over TV in between phone call from friend.
Can't believe I'd caught up on all surveys by Tues; now there are 16  really want to keep on top of them. Just been put back on the PO survey again - they drop you after a few months, then ask you back - so will be saving lots of stamps for Xmas (they pay in stamps).
Sorry not a very flying post but fairly MSE!!
    Tomorrow's plan:
    - gym x 2
    - guitar lesson
    - coffee with ex-manager who's offered me some freelance work
    - make sure all the cheap food I got on Tues is ok, or make some soup (packs of 4 giant mushrooms for 16p......so bought 4 packs...)
    - blitz on study. I'm not going to say any more for list, as study is in need of a GOOD blitz

Really hope the weekend weather will bring something suitable for flying outside as the weeds are in desperate need of de-cluttering. Local garden centre has a couple of discount days, so may organise some seeds (was going to suggest a meeting Dusty until ex-manager offered the work hence the visit tomorrow.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
  • Well, I am pooped and ready for bed - flying has been almost non existent today but I managed to get to my GTT only 10 minutes late (despite getting DS up 2 hours early to make sure I wasn't late, this procrastination bubble I am stuck in ATM hoovers up time in the blink of an eye), think I have failed the test spectacularly as about half hour after the sugary drink I had the familiar gripey pains and lethargy worse than normal :( oh well just have to wait for the results (appointment is about 3 weeks away), but no doubt if it is REALLY, REALLY bad they will ring me before then.

No time to go back home for flying before I had to pick up DD3 from school for her Orthodontist appointment, so I decluttered some food on the run, confirmed some appointments on my mobile and put some reminders straight onto my phone so I have both the white board and my phone aswell as paper appointment cards/letters to keep me focussed.

Got DD3 5 minutes late, got DS from nursery just on time, and then arrived at Orthodontist 5 minutes early, so I did get a little better.

No extraction today after all, will be done on a future visit, but had the plastic rings put in for her braces, bit gutted forgotten there is no financial help to get to and from her appointments as it 30 mile round trip as her bracework is "cosmetic", where as my bracework is covered at the hospital under "surgical" to correct a moderately severe maxillo facial defect. Going to have to factor in extra petrol into budget now as well :mad::mad:

DD3 applied for her first job tonight at a chip shop round the corner from where DD1 used to work. DD3 didn't get it as they need someone over 16, but said they might call on her in summer holidays to wait the small number of tables they have inside plus a few small bistro tables outside - so she is quite pleased with herself :D

DD2 is out with friends tonight and EX is coming tomorrow to take her out to pub now she is 18, so at some point I need to whizz round DD1 room to make it habitable for a potentially worse for wear EX, and install a "chunder bucket" in DD2 room ;) for a definitely worse for wear DD2 - I just hope he brings her back at a sensible hour, so that he will be functioning at normal capacity to spend Saturday with DD3, DS and Skint Baby before he goes back home.

Dustbin day tomorrow, all the rubbish and recycling dragged out

Mount Washmore that has been washed and dried has been brought in to LR and now is Mount Foldmore (there are 7 baskets of clean washing that need my attention :o:o:o) better than having 7 baskets of dirty washing, but not by much ;)

Well enough of that, the list for the week so far is looking like this:-

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying- Done
    Deep Cleaning- Done
    Decluttering- Done

Tuesday - Hall, Stairs, Landing and study/Family Room or similar
    Basic Flying - Done
    Deep Cleaning
Remove any marks from the walls/paintwork - the magic erasers work well
    Decluttering -Done

Wednesday - Bathroom and airing cupboard
    Basic Flying - Done
    Deep Cleaning
Give the tiles a good wash and shine
Hoover out inside your airing cupboard and wipe anything that is dusty - might do this Friday as most of the towels have come through the wash and are currently languishing in Mount Foldmore in LR :D
    Clean your grouting
    Deal with any mould

    Decluttering -Done

Thursday - Bedrooms - you choose which one
    Basic Flying
    Change the bedding
    [STRIKE]clear [/STRIKE]and clean the floor
Remove anything which belongs in another room - half done - there is a dining chair with a bin bag tied to it in here so I can get to upper wardrobe cupboard and then venture in DD2 room, but everything else has gone
    HHI (if you iron)
    Deep Cleaning
Wipe the window ledges and clean a window or two
    Hoover your curtains and blinds
    Dust lightshades and bulbs

    Decluttering
Sort tights, socks, and PJs rag-bagging any which have shrunk or are thread bear
Check for signs of moths and declutter any you find
Sort your stash of wrapping, presents, cards to remind you what you have got/need or do not need.

Right time to get some shut eye before Skint Baby puts me back in Daisy mode for the night - oh well its good for her, me and its very MSE :money:
The cold never bothered me anyway
