"Horsepiddle" - love it, haven't heard that one before.:D It cheered me up, so thanks for that, mrs mp.:o
Loo and basin all sparkly (Mr LW does the bath at the weekend, as I can't remove the bathlift on my own), spare supplies on top of bathroom cabinet all dusted and tidied, shower screen white vinegar-ed, tiles all wiped down.
I have a bit of washing up to do (just the stuff I've used during the day) and my Brain Training to do, then I'm all done.;)
I may even spend half an hour or so playing Dungeon Siege.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I give in - can't Fly and keep up with the influx of typing at the moment so will just have to type - that's what pays the bills. The end of the month is always busy and as it's coming up to spring time it's starting to really kick off. I should be back again next week when, hopefully, it'll be calmer.
Hugs, sticks, spoons, coping and keep well/fight off illness vibes to all - help yourselves as needed xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Mrs MP lots of employers are asking to see docs, not just schools, DS2 had to take his in despite them seeing it when they took him on lless than 6 months agoThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
What happens if you've never applied for a passport or passed your driving test? Neither of them are compulsory.
Wendy Witch: Sorry you're having such a grotty time. (((Hugs)))
Skint: Families. A parent dying is bad enough, but the crud that some family members manage to introduce into the situation completely astonishes me. Following my mother's death I've now lost touch with an uncle I really loved, and am no longer on speakers with my brothers - although they don't seem to realise it. Too much pain, too much agro, too much hassle. I was reduced to writing to one of them and actually saying 'This correspondence is now closed' because he'd got so aggressive. I wish I'd thought of your idea of sending emails at midnight; I certainly never ring any of them any more.
LameWolf: Thank goodness that horsepiddle (love it!) stuff is over and done with.
As much flying as possible has been achieved this end this week. The bathroom will get another going over tomorrow morning and our bedroom stripped, remade, dusted and vacuummed at the crack of o'sparrow fart tomorrow morning as we are off to a funeral and the dog-sitter will only do it if she sleeps in our bedroom. Fair enough, it's where Dog wants to be anyway. She's 100% better since I instigated a new regime after being given some wonderful advice by the Burn$ mob on dog nutrition, so I'm a lot more positive about her. Hurrah! (It's too much to hope that carpet-scrubbing is a thing of the past, but it's already reduced by a huge amount.)Better is good enough.0 -

Evening
Had a little flying time, between work and tots :T they are fed, bathed and ready for bed now. They're fighting over a breadstick at the moment. When there were 4, no one was interested. Now there is only one, they both want it
Paid stuff done for week, and a little packing for weekend attempted. Hugs and horsepiddle (:D) for those in need...

Hi there. I'm sorry some of you have had difficult days; Wendywitch and Skintbreeder, I hope things soon get much better for you, what a nightmare day or so you've both had. And Lamewolf, it sounds like you had a horrible hospital visit, let's hope you soon feel better and there isn't another visit due for ages.
Skint, I'm not sure who said it here, but families + money + wills/estate = TROUBLE! It is so true and causes so much bother. I've done a will that spells things out, haven't got much to leave anyway, but no doubt it will be picked over when the time comes!! Thinks - may as well spend the lot!!!
Anyway, I have to report a good day. Still had a muzzy head yesterday so only S&S sinks etc and rested after work, but thankfully, have felt better today, so we had a HH tidy before our showers, put on the WM and DW then got into town for 10.30 as I had a blood test due. Did some essential shopping, got some cheap wild bird food, sorted out new phone contract, and will save £10 per month:money:
Then took the change I'd been saving since this time last year and got £80 in notes for it! And to round of a good morning we had a lunch paid for via a birthday voucher from a friend, and it was not only delicious, but filling, so no cooking tonight - we just need soup or something light!!
We also managed to get three big bags of stuff to our local charity and intend to do more decluttering this weekend. All in all the place isn't looking too bad, but is still too cluttered! Onward and upward!
Good wishes and good vibes all round, especially to anyone poorly or under stress. R x0 -
Honey Bear - it was you that mentioned te family and wills/ money thing - I've been appalled to see how people, you thought you knew, behave when there is 'extra' money around; we can't do without it, but money really can bring out the worst in people.
On a brighter note it's lovely to see your doggie is feeling better - what lovely news! X0 -
TMD - You haven't upset me. It's not possible to move, finances won't allow and I have to stay close to my parents due to their poor health.0
