I have an ice cream recipe that doesn't require an ice cream maker--just condensed milk, whipped cream, soured cream and flavouring if I remember correctly. Let me know if you want it and I'll look it up for you. It is lush with berries in!

I'll admit to being a little disappointed with the frequent repeats on the supersix this year. However, I do have a few new ideas this week.
This salad made with Peaches and cheddar will be nice on a warm evening:

as would this peach, prosciutto and mozzarella salad:

We'll probably make big batches of these to have as a main, but they could be nice starters or side salads if you're having a barbie.
These peach and pork kebabs make use of one of the meat offers:

And a side salad with the tomatos, lettuce or new potatoes would be nice.
There are of course, many baking and pudding recipes with peaches. I may stew some for the freezer to put in porridge in the deepest darkest winter.
For the galia melon, this cool melon salad with hot bacon looks lush:

There are also a number of chilled galia melon soup recipes out there. I probably won't attempt these, but this one looks like a nice place to start.

The tomatoes on this week also look like they would work well for stuffed tomatoes, and I think a nice fruit salad would make use of the three fruits.0 -
