Maralum Freya is beautiful, don't know where you have found the time to post her picture and then to post again later on, my head was in such a spin for the first two weeks that I didn't know whether I was coming or going.

Forgot to add earlier that as well as the shambles here waiting on the carpet I also have both girls at home as it's an inservice day

Back from the vets - not his cruciate ligament ( thank goodness!) but not quite sure what - maybe chipped a bone. Got anti inflams for a couple of days as lameness improving a bit - if not x-ray at 8am Thursday!!! Got to be careful as he is over 8 now and spent so much of his life grossly overweight before we had him his heart may not cope with anaesthetic well.
Anyway - have to keep him quiet and resting LOL - a full time job that.

Got 3 loads of washing out and it keep spitting with rain ... grr - done kitchen surfaces and doors and washed and tidied up after cooking. Got SC on with massive chicken curry. Need to do the big leaded window in the kitchen - takes hours :( - and the floor ( sweep and mop kitchen & vac the utility). And will do one window in the utility ( there are 3 big ones in there and two big ones in the kitchen and two glass doors - they seem endless so split them up a bit week by week. Did the dog bedding yesterday so that;'s one less bit to do.

    Off to grab lunch

I'm going for level 2 again today as i'll be doing everything very slowly. I've managed to put my back out by doing too much in the garden so everything is slow motion today in the hope that I can get it moving again. What i'd really like to do is lie on the sofa all day but I know that won't do me any good. Right, enough moaning this house is a state.
Hope you all have a good day xx

Just having 5 minutes break as I'm seeing the ebay website with my eyes closed now :o I still have 35 items that need details. Fortunately there are about half a dozen or so handbags which are just a case of "See picture, dimensions : " ;) I'm shattered and I can't stop yawning. I could really do with putting the bedding in to wash but I've got loads of washing already in the livingroom (great excuse to have the fire on ;) ) and in the bedroom as it keeps raining  Oh well, off to get a big cold drink (4 cups of coffee already and I usually only have the 1 a day!) in the hopes it might wake me up a bit.

I have managed to do the same. I can't straighten up at all. I don't even have the excuse of doing the garden to cause it though. I've been up since 2.50 am and feel like a zombie, can't sleep for the pain. Our poor dog is in the vets today having a tumour removed so no one feels like doing much here. Boys are off school today so they can help me at the vets later. That sounds like they are off school to help. They have no lessons again today (both in sixth form) so are lolling all over the lounge.

Aw sounds like you're having a pretty bad day too. Hope your dog is ok, they're such a worry aren't they. I'm due to take more painkillers in another hour so it's getting really sore. If I keep moving it loosens up a bit but then I get massive spasms after a while. So, generally, just feeling sorry for myself and wanting to curl up and sleep for a week or seven. Guess things could be a lot worse though. Hugs to you and your pooch xx

Put load of washing on before work ... black jeans inlcuded and new rugby shirt with white collar. I know I shouldn't have ... but the rest of the shirt is darkish so needed to go in dark wash and the jeans had been washed before. So just as I was leaving noticed that the water in the machine was black. Couldn't stop to do anything about it as it was essential that I left for work immediately. Went back later (work is just half a mile from home) to rescue washing. Collar now greyish. Put it back in machine with some Vanish. Then in my rush to leave and get back to work asap knocked entire large container of vanish all over floor. Have swept, hoovered and washed floor. Vanish is down all the cracks between the old and tatty cork tiles. Feel as if I've reached level 3 already after that and I've really done nothing.

think this should be called level 4 of blowing your top!!

Just managed to get the baby down for a kip, so grabbing a jacket tattie with low fat cheese, and a quick catch up.

poohbear and LDJ big hugs to both of you, and i hope you have more mobility soon

maralum also in awe that you are back so soon with a list. although i agree that they do help to get you focussed with the bit of energy that you have. Well done on getting 6 hours of sleep.
