    Part of the Furniture
    Evening

just waiting for my roast chicken to cook. Bit cross with DH as he rang at 7pm to say he was at Norfolk doing a job, and won't be home till about ten. So, who am i cooking for?? So far this week, he did 8am Monday to 4am Tuesday, then 12pm today to god knows when. Am i entitled to feel a bit disgruntled? It's not even like we are well off from him working so hard.

Anyway, baby had a good sleep but i didn't seem to get that much done, and this evening he has had an upset tummy (probably from the pear and prune puree i gave him. ) He's in bed now, so i will be spending the evening pureeing and then hopefully get to look through some of the paper work i have to do before my training day on Saturday.

lil_me have a hug. and do your studying and stuff the house for one day until you are feeling a bit better.

    Tuesday 8/5:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level Two
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
    Wipe dining table
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/strike]
    Level Three
Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required
[strike]Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week[/strike]
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floor and sofas
    Level 2
Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)
[strike]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/strike]
    Wipe light switches and banister
    Level 3
    Clean window
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    [strike]Tidy shoes, coats and bags[/strike]
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    [strike] Declutter mission task
Clear one hotspot of your choice, even if only for 10 minutes [/strike] spent an hour on the spare room. Have finally boxed up all of Charlie's 3-6 month clothes, so there are now 4 nappy boxes and a wipes box to go up in the loft when DH decides to spend a bit of time at home.

Make a banana and walnut loaf
[STRIKE] make veggie baby pureescooking now
    get in freezer
    wash up blender etc[/STRIKE]

    make menu plan
    Try to read work stuff
[strike]Deal with post[/strike] paid electric bill, updated banking stuff, realised we are skint so transferred money from savings
    [strike]Make baby bottles[/strike]
    [strike]Pick cats up from cattery[/strike]
go for walk to library to pick up my card – take id with me
[strike]buy nephew a birthday card[/strike] wnet to the asda, so also picked up my bounty pack which was finally in stock, some fridge bits, and a new slow cooker to replace the one i broke
    drop off his birthday card/pressie
try to find a wedding reading for sister did look but nothing as yet
look for music for sisters wedding as above

looks a bit better than i thought, and the spare room is loads better. If i try to do some ironing at some point this week, we should be able to swap beds around this weekend which is our long term project.

Best go carve my chickens up. DH normally does it which is another reason to be grumpy.

    Oh - well. That's life.

Shell pleased to hear all went well and that she was a brave little princess :) bless her.

Thanks everyone, if I am honest I feel completely frazzled, not like me, getting snappy with the kids before so have put the studying and housework on hold until they are asleep. Only got 2 questions left now but they are long ones and haven't a clue what I am doing in all honesty. Like I said, the lot can wait, I'm having a break. It's due in tomorrow, tutors allowed an extension until the 14th but in all honesty, that's just postage time really. Got the whole lot to write up properly aswell.

Housework front, floors clean, kids fed, washing up yet to do, balls to the rest of it. I've got so much on this week and next don't know if I am coming or going, stupid thing is I know I need sleep, then stay up late studying, then when I finally get in bed sat doing notes for DS1s review on Thursday. Madness.

Holistic therapy session booked tomorrow, will have to cancel it if I don't get this assignment done tonight but hopefully can go, reflexology or massage I think, sure as heck need it. Only downside is last time I had it done I came home, sat on sofa (that was 1pm) next thing I know I'm waking up and it's nearly 3pm, so had to dash down for the kids :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi all, Just a quickie as watching "How to look good naked" so like the positive vibes!

DD was a star today. She never cried once, listened to everything they said and was just amazing. Even when they insterted the line in the back of her hand for the "magic sleep medicine" she never flintch.

Thank you all for thinking of us!

After having a busy day yesterday and busy but not to busy day today, I am peed off with myself that I have done nothing apart from washing and picking up the girls toys from the lounge

The flat was starting to look nice and tidy and now I have lost that motivation

This is one thing I hate about myself...I take a break from cleaning or get out of a routine I have (doing it all when dd1 is at nursery and dd2 sleeps) I find it hard to get that motivation back. Dont help that I am tired!

Hopefully I will get it back tomorrow, will start of by doing my room as it needs doing!

Sorry about the moan, am very annoyed at myself!

    Tomorrow I must:
    Get dd1s uniform out
    Washing and sort everything out.
Hoover my room and change bedding.
    Check Firealarms
Dust and clean window in there
    Tidy hall up and hoover.
    Hoover lounge and kitchen.
    S&S what needs doing.
Take pics of nappies and wool that I am selling and list of two forums to fund more!

Lil_me not only are you organising your own house you're helping all of us too. So don't beat yourself up! Not only that, you've also told the JAR people how life really is for paretns of disabled children in your area AND you've got an annual review on Thursday AND you've done loads towards your TMA. Thanks again, don't feel like I need a medal, maybe a kick up the backside :rotfl: Thing that's annoyed me the most tonight is my partner, won't call him dear at the moment, has sat playing on his PS3 until he went out with friends after giving up on his studying, requesting food, drinks etc, while I was sat trying to study and he was just 'playing' he does literally nothing at home, apart from today probably for the first time in 6 month he collected the boys frm school and it's starting to drive me crackers. Stupid me did it aswell.

I need to set out a more organised plan of when I can fit study time in etc, just not been working the way I have been trying to do it.

I don't know if this will work for you as you have kids, but I've found the only way I've found to do regular studying is to do it first thing when I get up. So before I check emails or open firefox to check websites etc, I do 30 minutes studying.

Oh girls, what a crappy day for so many of you!

Lil_me, you're doing fabulously to manage all of the things that you do. Most people struggle to be a student, a housewife or a mum, let alone all three  !!! Poor you, it doesn't seem fair to have a man that doesn't help either. I wish I could come over and help, in fact, I bet all the flybabies here do! We're here in spirit though, when someone causes you stress, just come back here and we'll denounce them thoroughly for you! :D

Demonicangel, don't get disheartened, you're still here, so you haven't really lost your motivation at all, just misplaced it. It's probably under a large pile of ironing, mine usually is. :rotfl:

Shell, well done to your baby! She sounds like a little star. Well done to you too, it's horrible watching your child in pain, especially when it's a doctor doing it - your brain sends you mixed signals that you should be stopping the doctor from causing hurt, however necessary.

Cha97michelle, you're quite right to feel miffed, I would too. Disappointment is nasty - especially as you say that you're not seeing any particular financial gain, you end up asking yourself, why bother? Maye if you let your chap know that you want him around more, then he'll do it. It's more than possible that he wants to be with you all of the time, but his male pride makes him work himself into the ground to prove that he loves you. I recently asked DH to cut his hours and he did! Down from 50 to 40 and I love it.

Sorry to run off, but the baby's ready for another feed, so I must rush. I'm sorry to those that I've missed, I'd love to reply to every post, but little madam has different ideas! :D

DH is going to post a picture of me and the babies for you to see, so forgive my little swollen face - apparently fluid collects here as well as the ankles!!!

maralum - that is a beautiful picture - i cant believe you had a baby only a few days ago!!!! You (and those beautiful children) look fab!!!!

Well, ive done not a lot today - bathroom and toilets all swished, as is the kitchen. Ive hoovered downstairs, loaded the DW (not enought to put on), made the packed lunches and put the WM going - should be hanging it all up before i goto bed.
So, tomorrow i need to give the kitchen a desent clean, and then tackle the living room and hall (but that shouldnt take long). I really need to tackle the hot spot that is my computer as well, i seem to have acumalated a lot of 'stuff' there, which keeps falling out of the cupboard.
And now - im watching Gordon Ramseys 'F' word!!!!
