Just started following the thread, but I'm not sure what I should do as part of my dailies list?

I was wondering what everyone has on their daily list, to give me a kick start with my own.

    Hello again everyone

:grouphug: for you lil-me as you need and deserve one :D

Haven't been following lil-me's list been doing my own this week. So this weekend we've made great inroads on the lounge/diner decorating. We sugar soaped & rinsed all the walls, polyfiller skimmed 1 & 1/2 walls, undercoated & put the 1st coat of paint on the large 21 ft wall.

Sil and Bil took Dd & Ds out for day on monday and then came back at 5pm for roast chicken dinner  Still don't know who's mad idea that was  but was still vaccumimg when they arrived :D

So kitchen blitzed as per list minus oven of course as it was in use :rotfl:
    Lounge/diner rearranged, tidied and vaccumed.
Kids toys tidied by them to help me out bless :D
Nets washed, wow they're actually white :rotfl:
    Downstairs loo done
Kids and Dh uniforms washed dried
    Towel load done
    Whites load done
Washed our bedroom windows inside....I can see out now

    For tomorrow

    work am
    class pm
    wash sofa covers
    upstairs bathroom
    coursework
    dailies
    defrost freezer
Probably lots of other things but I have brain freeze now :rotfl:

Shell Glad everything went well today
Maralum Ooooh they are sooo gorgeous. I am so broody now but Dh says NO :rotfl:

Maralum.... what a fantastic pic :D like catowen says you look great. And the grin on Owen's face says it all :) That is the type of pic that should be put up on DH's locker at work to remind himof his gorgeous family.

My DH had lots of pics of us on his locker.

Maralum - what a beautiful family you make, thanks for posting that. Catowens right - you look fab!

Lil_me - you do deserve a medal. Studying is far more important, the dust will still be there tomorrow. Give yourself a break and if you don't mind me saying, partner a kick up the ar*e:o Theres no way you can do eberything you want without him helping somewhere.

Michelle - sorry I'd be peeved off too! You do so well to run the house and have Charlie all day, even if I've had a dream day with Sam I still look forward to DH coming home - its nice to bee able to hoover or iron without holding him, singing, etc. My DH works daft hours too, one week hes home early everyday, the next week hes doing 18 hour days and 'has' to go away on 'jollies' but does normally give me notice so I know not to cook for him. Tell me I'm being nosey but what kind of work does he do? Those hours are nuts.

Big hugs to everyone else and well dones for all you efforts:T

Right, will see what I get done as know tomorrow is busy and will be a hard day for me personally. DS will be 7months tomorrow and it always makes me a bit funny when a month milestone comes round. I had a hard pregnancy and almost lost him several times, then almost lost him a 3 weeks old (several times) - I'm not dwelling on these things but I always feel so thankful and proud on these days. Hes proved doctors wrong by just being here and developed normally (hes been saying Mama mama last few days:j :D ) despite whats happened, he is truly a star.

Anyway, am off as getting sloppy:o Have a good y'all

    and landing blinds

he works for a sound and lighting hire company, mainly based in their office in Sheffield, but does travel all over doing stuff like quotes. It's a tiny company, and he is sort of the manager, and his phone rings constantly. His hours are stupid all the time, and i try to get him to come home early but it just isn't possible. It was terrible when i first had charlie as he would be out of the house 6am some mornings and then not in till 10 or later, and then he'd be shattered. He goes through spells where he says he may get a different job, but the guy who owns the company is his good friend, so he doesn't want to let him down.

Usually i know when he'll be late, he must have been extra tired when he rushed off today.

I am convinced now that you must be my next-door neighbour or something if you also shop at the outlet. It's lovely to have a walk around the lake.

Looking at tomorrows list, i personally prefer to do my room along with Charlie's on Fridays. I may try and do some more of my spare room tomorrow.

Anyway, computer is going off now as DH is finally in, so i want to spend a bit of time with him. Night everyone.

    Michelle, x

Maralum, thanks for that and the photo, you and your sons smiling faces made me smile, isn't your litle boy sooooo much like you. What a cracking smile, he looks like one very proud big brother :) Considering you have had a baby a few days ago you look so good too, don't know how you do it.

Michelle, me and my partner used to work in the same industry, I know how flexible you sometimes have to be - including working for a few days without any sleep at gigs etc. My partner was well known for being able to sleep behind a speaker when a band were playing. Completely understand how you are feeling (after DS1 was born I was at home while DP worked the same unsociable hours) hope your partner manages to at some point either do more sensible hours, or change jobs.

As for my DP, he can wait, have enough on without trying to tackle those issues. When I work on the schedule he'll be getting asked what he can do to help. I'll be honest I am probably one of the reasons he's so idle as I have always done everything. Even if I want the oven switching on when I am on my way back from somewhere to make dinner I have to leave buttons turned to right setting etc for him just to switch on at the wall or he wouldn't have a clue!

Good news, all but 1 question finished apart from writing up. Going to try to get it done tomorrow :) have said b@lls to it for tonight. Cheesecake almost ready to be eaten :) need comfort food so sod the diet also :D

Shirley, unfortunately having the 2 boys who take extra sorting out in the morning, especially as at 8 and 6 the can not dress themselves etc due to their different needs, don't think that would work. I'm going to try to work a schedule out this weekend after all the meetings etc. Sticking to it will be the hard bit.
One day I might be more organised...........

I can email you mine to give you an idea. Of course they are my dailies and you would have to edit to make it your own, jobs I have to do will be different to yours. Has tick boxes etc for each day. PM me your email address if you want it sending.

Dailies are very personal, what you need to do to keep things running well, from making meals, washing up, getting children ready etc etc. Most of the Flylady members aim to do 'One Washload a Day' as suggested on the Flylady website to keep up with laundry. Some of course don't need to do as many a week etc.

Boys are home from school today - work day . . . So i've left them a list of things to do:
    Look after puppy
Sweep or vacuum hard floors so I can wash them when I get home
Poopy scoop the back yard (bet that one doesn't get done LOL)
    Weed up the driveway
    Clean their bedroom windows
