Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Well I'm back from the school run and a 30 minute whizz :rotfl: I had left the computer on while I was out (only about 10-15 minutes tops ;) ) so it had done it's updates and checks and I managed to refrain from jumping on it as I wanted to get the kitchen floor hoovered :j Makes a change :o:rotfl:

Right, so before I tackle the ebay pile (oopppps...need to open turbolister to check there's no updates...done) I'll update my list so I can see where I am:
    • Dailies
      • [strike]Beds[/strike]
      • [strike]Bathroom S&S[/strike]
      • [strike]Dishes[/strike]
      • [strike]Kitchen S&S[/strike]
      • Evening meal
      • Uniform for tomorrow
    • Laundry
      • [strike]Darks[/strike]
      • Lights - Those that are still marked after already going through a cycle with just a stain remover are now in on another wash on their own with soda crystals, if they don't come up clean this time it will be borax  Then maybe I might be able to get the light wash itself sorted
      • Bedding
      • Towels / cloths
    • Ebay
      • Dispatch remaining items (2 could be put straight in the post box yesterday as they were vouchers ;) )
      • Try to complete updating listings :o
    • [strike]Clear car out of personal items (car seat, CD's etc)[/strike]
    • [strike]Hoover through downstairs[/strike]
    • Ironing still :o
Right, updates installing on turbolister, washing on for a 30min cycle (then its borax time  ) and I'm knackered already :o:rotfl: Need to get that box of ebay stuff and get going with it. I'll take the parcels later before I pick DD up from school, they won't be collected until about 4pm anyway so why rush and get wet 3 times in one day

Will check up on you all later, after I've tackled the 42 items I still need to edit
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Good morning all!

Sorry I didn't post any writing yesterday, the photo took all of my concentration and techno-know-how. I'm not exactly a fan of technology, it scares me.

All's well here, my clever little lassy slept for six hours last night! :D What a good girl. She woke up this morning, fed, played for 20 minutes and now she's out for the count again. I love my babies. Owen is being an angel - he keeps handing her cuddly toys and showing them to her. He's a really good boy and I'm making sure I tell him so as often as possible.

Just a quickie as I have a few things to do today. I'll even make a little list for myself - I do so love my lists. ;)

    [STRIKE]Tesco online shop[/STRIKE]
    Little tidy in bedroom
    [STRIKE]Check washing - any needs doing[/STRIKE]?
    [STRIKE]S and S bathroom[/STRIKE]

    List for DH:
    [STRIKE]S and S kitchen[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Make bread[/STRIKE]
    Vacuum throughout

Not my usual flurry of activity, but the place is still looking very good. We're all learning to pick up after ourselves as we go. :D

MIL has offered to take a couple of days off when DH goes back to work so that we can give the house a proper clean together then. Lovely lady, she knows me so well! :rotfl:

Will be off now. Take care and happy flying, I'm glad you thought my baby was beautiful too - she's also very soft and smells like talc. Oh goodness, I may have to go and sniff her right now...

Really really windy here - extra pegs on the washing today :D

Dustbin day so I've made sure all the bins are emptied.

Done about level 2 and a bit on the living room and hall. My computer desk is in the hall and I've even had another go at my keyboard. Didn't just shake out the crumbs this week! I've did the keys with a baby wipe and they feel/look much better.

Didn't move the furniture out to vacuum this week (did it last week). It touches the floor anyway so very little can get under there. Except cats hairs. They can get anywhere. I bet if Man ever gets to Mars he'll find cats hairs up there.

Put load of washing on before work ... black jeans inlcuded and new rugby shirt with white collar. I know I shouldn't have ... but the rest of the shirt is darkish so needed to go in dark wash and the jeans had been washed before. So just as I was leaving noticed that the water in the machine was black. Couldn't stop to do anything about it as it was essential that I left for work immediately. Went back later (work is just half a mile from home) to rescue washing. Collar now greyish. Put it back in machine with some Vanish. Then in my rush to leave and get back to work asap knocked entire large container of vanish all over floor. Have swept, hoovered and washed floor. Vanish is down all the cracks between the old and tatty cork tiles. Feel as if I've reached level 3 already after that and I've really done nothing.

The oven is soaking in stardrops but otherwise the kitchen has had a quick S&S, lil_me will take your suggestion of swapping the rooms around - there is just too much to do in the living room to try and clean the kitchen as well, so living room it is for me with the added of bonus of not hoovering no point with the carpet being replaced tomorrow :j

So today I have to -
[STRIKE]move two bookcases into new rooms [/STRIKE]- they are both needing a declutter before they can be done so this is my 27 fling.
[STRIKE]move all the little bits of furniture into other rooms[/STRIKE] - aiming to give them a good polish as they are moved.
[STRIKE]paint one wall which is covered in hand prints from my lovely kids[/STRIKE].
[STRIKE]lift carpet and carry it out into the garage[/STRIKE].

Thats me for now I will report back later to tell you how things are going.

    Jen

Just updated yesterdays list never mind thought about todays list. The house is a shambles I think every room has furniture from the living room - I have an open plan living / dining room so we needed to move quite a bit of furniture, the carpet men are due between 12 & 2 and really until then I can't do anything as some rooms I can barely get into.

Never mind going to take ten mins to catch up here and then think about lunch - it's stopped raining and is now nice and sunny so I think a picnic out doors is called for.

Just vaccumed the sofa - first time in many, many months (years?). It was gross. As I was doing it, I remembered an episode of Malcom in the middle, where the boys couldn't be bothered to go out to the kitchen to get some food, so they shout 'trail mix' and then dive under the cushions, coming up with dried bits and bobs of food. Yuk!!

Kind of hints at the state of our sofa, doesn't it:D

The furniture we've got now is covered all in one so nothing can get down in between cracks. Furniture we've had in the past though, that's another story!
