Yuk! babies are disgusting! Noah found and ate a piece of an eraser he found that the boys dropped. I found it in his nappy a day later, I should of given it back to the boys to teach them a lesson.:)DS1 10yrs

It's when you find them lurking near the litter tray that you need to start worrying.... (Eta that's not happened to George, we don't have cats. But I can imagine he's the type to stick his fingers in the stinkiest, grottiest place he could find).
George has napped for all of 15 minutes so far today, he's in a cracking mood but I'm exhausted! I need my quiet time in the morning! Just hope he doesn't suddenly get all stroppy and tired when we get to soft play after dinner...

Katiechoc - can sympathise on the nap front. LO went from 8.15 to 2.15 with no sleep  I have now got her to sleep, but not good for a 5 month old (or mummy
) and I'm supposed to be going to my friends tonight it's an hours drive each way. I'm going to be pooped.
Sammie hope the spots go soon.
Put LO in her own room for the first time last nightshe still woke at 3.15 and 6.15 but then went back to 8.15. Her second tooth is all the way through now so don't think this is helping. Despite the wake ups it was a much better night all round. She also went back down after the first wake up wide awake and got herself off
and didn't get disturbed by big sister this morning, though not sure how long that will last when she realises she can get in her room
Hope you all have a lovely weekend. An old friend unexpectedly emailed earlier to see if they could pop in tomorrow, they live a couple of hours away. Not seen them for nearly 3 years so it will be lovely :T

Well been to the drs for my postnatal and brought up the subject of reflux with lo and wasn't taken seriously at all so going to see how it goes over the next week and then bring it back up at his jabs. I'm mad at myself for not standing my ground, the dr actually said "we worry more with our first" GrNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0

In my experience you need to push and push and push. I was at the surgery I'd say 4 days out of 5 that they were open. Ask for a referral to the paedatrician, that usually moves them along a bit. You can ask for a referral to whoever you want and they have to do it, doesn't mean the appointment will come in quick time but they do have to do it.
I got all the excuses in the book, 'colic' 'babies cry' etc Everyone who saw our LO cry was agast at how bad it was. Took us 6 weeks of constant pushing to be get our referral through and even at that the Paed didn't take us seriously but I was deadly serious, I researched, I knew what we wanted and I said I wasn't leaving until we got a recommendation for it. We had a different boy when we got the meds and milk sorted. Good Luck.
