    Morning Nutella :)

Glad you got some uninterrupted sleep at least, George is going through an early wake up phase too - today it was 5.45am so not quite as bad as yours, but it does make it seem a looong time til bedtime!

Re tooth brushing - until very recently G has been similar to your LO, just wriggling and avoiding it when I tried to do it but he would happily stick it in and chew on it himself. I pretty much just let him do that, periodically I'd hold the end and make the right brushing action. Now he still doesn't really like me doing it but he makes more of the right action and I just angle it towards the bits he misses. He's got 7 teeth now (well, 6 and a teeny spike). Whenever we're in the bathroom he points to his tooth brush now!

But basically not much useful advice - I decided to not make a big thing out of it until he hit a year, and luckily for me he's started doing it much better so I've avoided that one so far!

If Freddie refuses to have his teeth brushed (top two just coming now!), I just give him the brush to chew on. He'll normally happily do that for a while and I figure it's better than nothing.

    Hi ladies :)

Nice day here, as the vtech walker would say, the sun is shining!!

Its only been the last 8 wks or so that Aiden has let us brush his teeth, before he would just hold it and chew it, examine it, try and put it in my mouth etc...

Guess what....? He slept till 540! Then, had some milk and slept till 830!! longest sleep I have had for months and months, I feel great!!

Gorgeous pictures Katie! And yay for sleep Sunshine! And lol at quoting the v tech walker - that is indeed what it would say here too :D

Thanks for the toothbrushing tips. She does play with the toothbrush a fair bit and likes chewing on it, so every now and then it will touch her teeth... I'll try steering it towards her teeth more when she plays with it. She has a normal toothbrush as well as the chewable one that Lola posted a link to, so between them I hope her two little teeth will be OK :o

Just had a nap and a shower - the little one is still sleeping, so I'm going to get our stuff ready for heading outside...

    Wow beautiful pics Katie :)

Think my lo has some reflux, has some of the milder symptoms so going to talk to the doc about it when I go for my postnatal app. We're going through 3 changes a day from sick and bits of milk and dribble coming up, he's hiccuping all the time and then choking on his spit, so def thinking that little vavle that is meant to stop acid isn't doing so well. I keep him upright for about 40 mins after every feed but it doesn't seem to help!

Started out sunny here but it's not so sunny now and I had so much washing I could have put out gr

I have a lot of admiration for you mamas getting up before 6am! My LO will usually sleep until 8am, occasionally I hear her get up a bit earlier, but she'll happily roll around/stand up and bounce in her cot. I can hear her babbling to herself so I can just stay snuggled in bed for a bit longer.

My friend told me she didn't bother brushing her kids teeth until they were well over 1 year old, she looked at me funny when I said I was brushing my LO's first 2 teeth when she was 5 mths old. Not sure how long their baby teeth will last her eldest is 4 and the youngest is almost 2!

Thanks ladies :o OH says we should cut his hair as it looks daft. I want to wait and see how high it goes lol.

Lol Sunshine, you could tell when Sainsburys had a 25%off clothing a few weeks ago as half the babies at softplay had those bibs on :rotfl:

We had some refluxy symptoms (lots of sick, hiccuping, gagging on something, etc). As I was breastfeeding and it didn't seem to bother him, my doctor said just wait for him to grow out of it. He did, but it made for a lot of washing in the meantime! :D

Toothbrushing is a pain here too. However, I persist, as I remember his big bro was like it for years! So I don't want to wait for him to grow out of it.
