    Hi Rebekah!
    Wave Wave ...
  • Well... here we are - week 33 today - can everyone cross everything I make it to week 34 this time?!

Erin of course doing awesomely - just finished scoffing a load of breakfast... still no crawling but she's got rather efficient rolling to get around so I'm not sure she's going to at all.

Hello everyone :) Can we join in please? I had George on 11th February at 04:43, weighing in at 8lb 7oz & my birth story is in the birth stories thread :) Here's a picture of the gorgeous little fella...

We've been home 2wks after an overnight stay in hospital due to George not feeding particularly well (he was quite mucousy) but everything is going well now & I'm loving being a mummy! It's daddy's first day back at work tomorrow so that'll be weird but he's only got weds & thurs then he's off fri for the day then back to work sat-tues & off again weds, he has a weeks holiday coming up mid-march too :)

Right, back to being a mummy :) A certain hungry little man wants feeding!

Congrats, me and George share our birthday

    He Ladies,

Just checking in on my lunch break! Love the new baby pictures and welcome to the new mums!

My next door neighbour had twin boys last week and I had a sneaky hold yesterday! Beautiful! You really do forget how small new borns are, and I never thought I would say that after having a 1lb 13oz baby who was only 3lb 4oz when we brought her home, but you do forget!

Poppy's been to a music group for babies and toddlers this morning, she's been going for a few weeks and today is the first week she hasn't cried, my Mum thinks she is shy as she buries her head in my Mum's coat and won't look at anybody, but apparently today she was much better!

Yay for the tooth Nutella, we have 2 bottom ones so far! they look so cute when they start coming through.

    Best get my lunch eaten.

    Will catch up again later.

  • Well back from shops, was a success :j she slept all the way round apart from about the last 5 minutes but was just looking around rather than crying :j she fell asleep again in the car so have just put it all away and having lunch and a catch up on here before she wakes up for food :D

She managed an hour sleep in her bouncy chair today which is a first and meant I got lots of jobs done. Including moving all my pennies around as it's payday and first one on reduced pay - boo!!!

It's lovely ans sunny here, so I'm going to take her out again this afternoon and make the most of it.

Hope your all having a good day :)

Sammie - if there isn't an offer on at the moment on the cash back sites if your not too desperate to start now, they normally crop up every couple of weeks.

omg mrs_b he is perfect!!! How is he doing?

Ive bought dr brown bottles, colief, and have been giving J a little tsp of fennel tea and she is so more content. I am waiting for a probiotic powder for babies i bought online, it supports baby digestive system, also bought a swaddle.
Yeterday went to collrect a baby swing, it is great, she slept in there while i was cleaning, things start getting better at least.
Never thought i was going to be buying a swing, a swaddle, dr bottles, probiotics etc... think i spent £71 but so far so worth it, i was desperate!

Glad things are getting better for you Morocha. I've heard swings can be a god send with some babies :) x

Yes, the lady i bought it from, spent £60 buying it in argos and her baby hated it, saw in a fb group and offered £25 and she said alright, it is almost brand new. Jade loved it, been using it since yesterday, it is a fisher price rainforest thingy.

I've been there we spent hundreds of pounds on all different things to solve our constant crying. Good thing is, it all re-sells well :)

  • Welcome to all the new ladies :)

    Fingers crossed Dizzi

    Glad LO is settling Morocha

Well, we had a fantastic night last night - she fed at 7pm, settled down to sleep at 8pm then didn't feed again till 6.45am!! :D I was awake from 6am listening to every noise coming from the cot, expecting to jump out the bed to get the bottle sorted at any moment...ended up getting myself a leisurely breakfast and cuppa instead LOL. I'd had an inkling she was trying to drop a feed over the last few days as she'd been struggling to drink much of the evening feed, but we'd had such a bad night the night before last that I was feeling quite despondent about her sleeping through anytime soon, so last night was a lovely surprise :)

Took her to see my friend this morning, and she was happily smiling away and being generally very good. I think she's naturally a 'people person' and loves new faces as well as familiar ones. My friend held her virtually the whole time we were there - I'm sure she'd love another but her hubby had the snip a few years back so no chance.

TMI but its my first AF since LO was born and so far it's so light and pain free I'm beginning to think my body's forgotten what to do!!! Not complaining in the slightest, I hope they remain like this till the menopause :D
