Hey all well I'm finally back on the forum and can now officially say I'm a mum! :)

My gorgeous boy was born on January 20th and I couldn't be any more in love :) (well his dad comes on a par, lol)
Hello, can I join you all please? I have two daughters - DD1 is 5yo and DD2 is seven months. I think I recognise some of you from the pregnancy thread as I occasionally lurked there when pregnant but I was too ill to keep up with it.

Hello everyone :) Can we join in please? I had George on 11th February at 04:43, weighing in at 8lb 7oz & my birth story is in the birth stories thread :) Here's a picture of the gorgeous little fell

We've been home 2wks after an overnight stay in hospital due to George not feeding particularly well (he was quite mucousy) but everything is going well now & I'm loving being a mummy! It's daddy's first day back at work tomorrow so that'll be weird but he's only got weds & thurs then he's off fri for the day then back to work sat-tues & off again weds, he has a weeks holiday coming up mid-march too :)

Right, back to being a mummy :) A certain hungry little man wants feeding!

    Welcome and Congratulations! x :D

Welcome everyone! Congrats to you mrs_B. Can't see your pic on my phone :( will have a read of your birth story later :) x
  • Hello newbies and all you regulars :D if anyone is going to sign up to WW online check cash back sites first, I joined in jan through qu1dco and got £39 cash back on the 3 month plan meaning it will be £2.95 for first three months :j

On travelling - depending on age of LO I would recommend a trunki. We took one when my LO was toddling but not walking on her own and used if for nappy bag/ toys/ snacks on the plane. It doubled as a walker for the airport and when we were away, she walked miles behind it round the airport, apartment and pool. It was a great investment! Obviously only works if toddling/ walking.

Going to attempt a full shop today with LO as Mr S keeps coming up with a fault when I try and checkout my online order  and tesc0 has cleared my history so I would need to start again  will see how far I get :D

Have a good day everyone :D

morning all just popping on to say thanks for telling me to go yesterday to baby massage, it was good fun and Maisie enjoyed it, we've got it once a week for another 4 weeks and we start baby sensory classes thursday :) so that will get us meeting other mums and babies :)
Thanks for reminding be about the apps you can use on your phone, i used them when Maisie was first born to make sure she was feeding enough, i think ill start recording her feeds again :)
Shes very irritable today, wont feed properly this morning and had been waking up lots during the night, i dont think she teething and i do wonder if she needs to start being weened, shes 21 weeks, when did everyone else start?

Toni - yay, glad you enjoyed baby massage yesterday. :D I think I started weaning Noah around 22 weeks. Worth a try if you think she is ready.

Jonno - I was going to sign up to WW last night but didn't want to part with the £30 odd (I'm a stinge!!) ill definitely look into the cash back thingy though! Bargain.

    4 month sleep regression, horrible.

Weaning can start anytime from 17 weeks but it's recommended to wait until 26 weeks, as you can give gluten and dairy from that age :) xx
