Baby this morning was in the kitchen with me when I started getting the roast ready... And managed to tip a whole box of cereal all over the floor
At my LO's nursery, they do messy play with things like rice crispies and corn flakes, so rest assured she was engaging in an educational activity  Seriously though, isn't it incredible how much food there is in a container/bag/box once it's spread all over the kitchen floor? My LO emptied out a bag of couscous a couple of weeks ago (which OH had helpfully closed with a peg and left on the bottom shelf of a cupboard where it was just waiting to be discovered by a curious baby), and despite having hoovered and mopped the floor several times since, I'm still finding escapee grains in all sorts of places0 -
If anyone's wondering if Freddie the Firefly can handle a machine wash despite the 'handwash only' label, the answer is yes
I've just washed him at 30 degrees, and he's come out the other end just as bright and cheerful as when he went in, only significantly less muddy.

Hope everyone else is ok, my monster is in bed after being a bit of a terror today - nothing seems to keep him happy for longer than about 35 seconds at the moment. Unless he's trying to stick his fingers in plug sockets, pull the tv off its stand, batter the heater with his toys or anything else that would end in injury to him and/or expensive damage to our belongings - he'd spend all day doing things like that. Sounds like hard workI hope my LO's love of Duplo lasts for a long, long time - I swear she spent at least 3 or 4 hours playing with it today. Granted, not in one sitting, but still...
Hope he sleeps well for you tonight to make up for it all!

hugs sammie!! Hope he's better soon.
On the soft toy front I've washed all of ours at least once; we have a soft toy cycle on our machine.
Sitting here listening to lip smacking from next to me on the couch - another new trick. Combined with the rolling over we are now kicking both legs up and getting them to near our mouth0 -
We are home now :j he is having dioralyte in his water so as long as he is keeping it down they said just give it to him little and often. He's in bed with me watching Mickey Mouse now.
Sunshine - I don't know how you coped with Aiden being in there 6 days. I hated seeing him on a drip.:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012
