Sammie, glad Noah is feeling better

I woke this morning and the instant I moved I pulled something in my neck/shoulder and then could hardly move my head at all. Not good when you've 2 babies screaming for their breakfast!

Somehow managed to get them downstairs and changed, settled for milk for breakfast instead of proper food and luckily Granny has taken them for the day :T

Hope the pain goes quickly cos OH is working tonight and will need to be able to see to them every couple hours as usual lately . I hope I'm not jinxing myself saying this but they have been taking it in turns each night to be grumpy and not want to sleep. Last night was Mollies turn, couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Woke this morning to nappy rash though which she hasn't had before :(. Wonder if it was that, or teething

Anyway, I'm taking the opportunity to do nothing and veg on the settee. I'm surrounded by clutter and mess but there's nothing I can do about it . When OH got in from work this morning he said just see if you can get some bits done, it will help if you move about and do things

Yeh cos I don't need to rest up ready for lugging 2 babies about later!

Just a quick one from me, I'm at work grabbing a quick brew and had a quick read back. Sooo glad Noah is feeling better Sammie, it is such a worry when they are poorly, but if I've learnt one thing from having Poppy is that babies are super resilient!

Not much to report here, took Poppy to get weighed on Friday, she's only gained 7oz in the last 2 months and has yet again fallen right off the weight chart. We are seeing the Consultant next Wednesday so will see what he has to say. Health Visitor likes to worry me, but she looks healthy, has rolls on her tum and little boobies, she is just very small built! She ain't doing bad though seeing as when we brought her home she was only 3lb 5oz!

    Best get back to work!

    See you all later! xx

I can totally sympathise with you, I was putting the pram in the car on Saturday and could feel my back pulling, then I picked the car seat up with the lo and felt my back twinge! I've been in pain ever since, today it seems to be down one side but it's killing when I pick him up or lean over :(

Katiechoc - if he carries on improving I will hopefully make it, but obviously if he is sick etc I won't come as I wouldn't want to pass it onto George and Freddie. I have to drop the boys off to school in the morning but should be able to get there for 9.30. Have you spoken to fluff about a time? I'm sure we will all find each other somewhere!

    How's George now?

Ok then. Fingers crossed he keeps on improving! I'll pm fluff and see what time she reckons.

Gis much better now thanks. I really don't know what gets into him sometimes. He had some dinner and we went to the park for a bit. I let him walk along the footpath through on the way there and every time someone walked past us he would turn around and try and follow them! Took AGES to get there!

Sounds like Poppy is doing ok if she's got little tummy rolls jannine! My Oh likes to tell G that he has a muffin top lol. He'll have to stop that when he gets older or he'll give the poor boy a complex!

Afternoon all :) Teething is definitely kicking in here, doesn't appear to be bothering him much but he is living with his hands in his mouth! Also have had 4 dirty nappies so far today!

Wondered if anyone had any tips for extending sleep. He goes down at about 7 and we don't hear a peep until anywhere between 11 and 12. He'll then take a full 6oz feed and go down till 6-7am.

I'm assuming this is 'normal?'. Everyone I know with babies at a similar age has them going down about 7 till 10ish then a quick feed before down till 7ish.

I'm assuming there's nothing I can do to drop the midnight feed?

Peanut, I wouldn't attempt to drop night feeds before weaning is well established. Until then it's all about demand and supply.

Are lots of dirty nappies linked to teething too? I didn't know that :o The girls have been at their granny's all afternoon and they've been filling their nappies all day apparently. Amelia's been very rosy-cheeked all day and like I said earlier, Mollie woke up today with really bad nappy rash. Looks raw, bless her :(

All sounds like teething to me

Katiechoc - yeah arrange a time with fluff and just let me know, I can get there at anytime as I'm only down the road. I'm looking forward to having a good look around :D

Jannine - well done to Poppy. :j
