:rotfl: they can be annoying little creatures at times!

Little man has found his 'boy bits' too so I have literally 3 seconds to clean around them before he has got a handful. :p

When you grab his ankles, pull his vest out and hold it with them. He'll still be able to get round the sides, but won't be able to go straight between his legs!

I don't feel we are told enough about vaccines. Anyone here told that giving calpol beforehand 'just in case' can affect the immune response? Or having fewer vaccines at once, with a greater gap between them, means a better immune response?

    Hear hear!

Another one - the mmr "booster" at 3yr 4months - its not a booster, its exactly the same as the first one, because the first one is only effective in around 90% of cases, so the second lot is to catch the ones missed first time around.

As aimless has suggested, research has proven that individual vaccines provide a better immune response - making them more effective and more likely your child is protected.

My stance is not that I am against vaccination, in fact I'm considering a route that statistically will have my child with a higher level of immunity than those who receive the combined mmr.

Boohoo I have been up since 4.30am with a miserable baby. :( he has been awake most of the night too. I'm hoping I can get a bit of sleep when he has a nap at some point today, we will see. :o

I have managed to put the washing machine on, clean the kitchen and wipe around the bathroom though so not too bad considering its not even 7am! Just having a cup of tea now.

I was wanting to get some more cot bed sheets that were not too thin etc and found these flat sheets which are supposed to be Un branded m&p seconds, they are lemon but didn't care about that as they were £6.99 for 2 plus postage, they are jersey and they look fab, washed them yesterday so will see how they go but thought I would mention as there are other sizes too http://www.babe-equip.co.uk/2-pack-luxurious-flat-sheets-for-cot-or-cot-bed-lemon-100-cotton-jersey.html

Thanks to those who suggested places to get the teats - we had to get two packs from Boots and two packs from Toys R Us next door since nowhere seems to have decent stocks at present (two Mothercares were sold out totally)... Toys R Us seem to still have limited stocks of Huggies nappies left by the way I noticed if anyone's getting desperate.

Carobel's meant only one puke all night - hubby's complained Robyn's been unsettled - but when he's quantified that - it's pretty much what I get every night - during the night she'll sleep 1 1/2 hours and start grumping and crying randomly unless cuddled (then she'll go 4 hours during the day - she's still got them muddled) which is what I put up with every single nighttime... only one sick up though and she's seemed a lot calmer after feeding and when laid down in her basket (even with the head raised she still wasn't happy) so I'm just chalking it down to him having the tolerance levels of a wimp.

I've been upstairs with Erin in our bed since about 7pm - she went down to sleep fine, woke up screaming her head off within about an hour - utterly inconsolable and I'm pretty sure it's these two flipping teeth that still haven't cut through but you can definitely feel trying to now - so I've had her crying randomly all night with me (I resorted to Underdog adverts on youtube on my phone to calm her down!) and she's still not happy today. She's also decided she quite likes the Muppet Bohemian Rhapsody which at least spares me the flipping singing plasticine dog a bit.

I think our problem is teeth, Noah was crying randomly all night too. He basically slept all day yesterday, as he had a bad night the night before as well, so I'm hoping he will give me a bit of a break today as when he's awake he literally will scream if I put him down.

I don't think many men can tolerate baby screaming all night, I know my OH definitely can't, he is so miserable if he is woken up in the night and will phone me randomly in the day to tell me how tired he is  I could beat him with a saucepan sometimes!

    I'm up now :hello:

Got to bed really late last night and feel like poo this morning :(

I've got a washing mountain the size of Everest to sort out today too, and I have to do the bathroom and bedroom.

Hope Erin feels better today Dizzi. You did make me laugh with underdog adverts (although I feel your pain. In my house it's gangnam style or singing hands :o)

I'm lucky with OH (not that I couldn't have killed him yesterday) in that I can go and get crying babies and plonk them on him and they go.straight back to sleep usually. He's like a natural sedative :rotfl:

My baby is still asleep, I'm only up because squeak is, the other children are all sleeping. Still it'll be good for school.

On that note, if I'm here after 8:30 tonight, please shout at me to go to bed!
