Little miss Pretty Pink Shoes just woke up having produced one of the least lady-like poos known to mankind  :rotfl:

Thanks Sammie :D She does like the bow at the front, but it's that little piece of ribbon at the back (the one you hold on to when you put the shoes on) that she's particularly fascinated by. Babies - strange little things aren't they? !... :o

I don't have kids - I have triffids! Just had to get the 18-24 month stuff out for Erin after getting 4 months max out of the 12-18 month stuff... including putting my beloved deep purple cord dungarees (I love dungarees on crawlers - they're like baby handles to turn 'em back around and head them the other direction) into storage.

Robyn's outgrowing her newborn babygros based on sheer length as well - nowhere near the stated weight ranges for them, indeed she's only just technically out of tiny baby on the weight ranges but is flipping LONG like her sister - so I've got the mountain of 0-3 months stuff to sort out next... least this time around I can just chuck stuff onto the charity shop pile as it's properly outgrown instead of trying to pack stuff up into size-ranged boxes for a second baby.

I have an entire summer wardrobe in 12-18 months that's not going to be worn at all! OK so all of it was like £2 a sundress from Matalan clearance but still...

Oh peeps, it's our 8wk checks today (my post natal & George's baby check) & I'm so nervous about his injections :( Despite having done the tongue tie appt on my own & seeing how little it affected him havin that snipped (he didn't even wake up!), this one is upsetting me :( I'm trying my best not to let on & for George not to know I'm worried but it's not easy.

The appt is at 11:10 so not long to wait now. Any tips for afterwards? And during for that matter if anyone is around! I've remembered somethig easy for him to wear that won't rub & it easy to put back on afterwards. I also have calpol in the house as well for afterwards.

Thankyou for listening to my little ramble, it definitely helps to get it out :) George is clearly not phased because he's currently snoring away after a good feed so here's hoping he remains as contented as he normally is!

    Morning

How did all the babies sleep? Noah woke up at 2am because he had filled his nappy!

I'm off into town today to pick up a few bits the boys need before they go back to school then I think we are going to have an evening of homework.

Don't know if I mentioned it before but I bought this for Noah from eBay. I paid £1.04 and it was only down the road, he loves it.

I think a lot of parents find them upsetting so you're not alone hun.
You seem pretty organised (loose clothing, calpol) so I'm sure it will be fine. There isn't much else you can do but I'm sure lots of cuddles will help the healing process (for you and baby!) I tend to look away whilst it is happening and find that helps me but I'm very squeamish!
Noah had his MMR and boosters on Monday and he still loves me so I'm sure you will be fine.
Big hugs for little one and in sure he will be very brave. :D
