So you think that bribing inadequate parents to have more kids is a good idea then?
Well, if it was that good why aren't I up the duff on a council estate? Trust me, if it was that good I'd be well up for it!

The majority affected have nowhere to move to, so removal expenses aren't a problem. They can just wait a few months and the bailiffs will move all of their stuff, at least as far as the pavement.

Alternatively they could pay a small amount towards their rent.

Look, the fact is that we're not going to agree on this. I'm totally pragmatic. I don't care if we reward people for having kids, if they bring them up well and do a good job the kids will grow up to be net contributors to society, if they do a bad job the kids will commit crime and make our lives worse. I don't care if we buy them holidays, caravans, cars, houses whatever it takes to break the cycle of dysfunctional people.

If you think that removing "incentives" for bringing up kids will stop people breeding and end the spectre of criminal kids, go to Capetown or Sao Paulo or anywhere in the world that doesn't have a social security net and please, please feel free to make friends with the gangs of armed kids.

do you work hard at being an idiot, or is it just a natural talent that you have?

I know. We will disagree and I respect your point of view, I simply don't agree. It does not make me angry if people get things easily I work hard for. Good luck to them. I pay 40% tax, but it's the price I pay to live in a civilised country and at that price it's very cheap.

I was just trying to lighten the discussion a little with some examples of people who are unemployable. Give me credit for trying...

My friend only has to pay an extra £10 something for the extra bedroom. He is not moving..

Can I just say When I was a single mum of 2 and moving over 300 miles I packed my whole house myself, did many tip runs myself, took my wooden floor up in living room myself, took my fire place myself, took curtain poles down myself, ripped up new bedroom carpet myself, took a play house down myself AND I drove a 3 tonner myself (I rented this and friend drove another). I was also working my notice at work full time and feeding the kids.
