mfd my monthiversary is on the 25th, Yippe!! Cant wait.

I still have not decided what to do with the money I have saved up. My BF says I should spend it on myself but I cant bring myself to go near it. Also I think I should be paying my debts off with it. What are you guys doing with the money you have saved???

I'm finally back again...think it was Nov/Dec when I last posted on this thread...surgery nurse and I decided that patches weren't right for me and I was referred to a different clinic for Champix. So it's taken 4 months  to get an appointment..but I'm on my way now. And the new nurse is hot on my heels already!

Although I only got the Champix today, the nurse has phoned me twice to see how my plan is looking. Next appt Tues 22nd.

So I start taking Champix tomorrow morning and have to set a quit date
    between days 8 and 14.

I will definitely be on here alot...I've got to find something to do with my hands and I can type for England!! :rotfl:

Well done to everyone else...this is my third attempt and I'm really determined to make it work. A little tip from the nurse is feeling tired can be overcome by taking energy sweets, so I've got my stock to start me off.

I doubt if you will make it to day eight - I was desperate to stop by day five.

Honest, Champix, if you really want to quit, will have you stopped no problem.

I went smoke free Jan 13th with Chamoix and although Ive had a few dodgy moments, (and still do), its been so easy compared to my other attempts with patches or cold turkey. This time I dont ever want to start smoking again, This time I hope will be my last attempt :)

You might feel sick on Champix for a few days - but work through it, dont let that get you to stop taking them. Honest I had a few rough days the first week but come week two all side effects were past. If you want to stop you really will on the champix

    Good luck

Spend this months and even next months on you - until not smoking becomes second nature. Its money you would have spent on yourself (smoked it) and lets face it you need a reward - so treat yourself - you deserve it
  • Why not do a bit of both bellie?

A bit of a treat for yourself (a pair of pink shoes maybe ;) ) or for you both (a nice dinner or other treat ;);) ) then pay a bit off a debt....

Seems like the 'sensible' option - I didn't save the cash on purpose...I don't need another excuse to spend!!

Actually - stuff sense ^^^^ do what suki says!!!

Ok I think I have come up with a solution. While I still have debt to pay off I will put half of it towards that and keep half of it for me as there are a few things I would like but normaly wouldn't get. When my debt is finally paid off I will put half into my budget to make things easier and half into the house fund as we are trying to do up our new house and everything needs gutted and redone. Thank you everyone. x
