  • Hey Diamond, you don't have to go crazy and join a gym or start running marathons. Something simple like a brisk walk every day could work wonders - both for your depression and your fitness levels.
Especially if the sun is shining like it is here today

Thanks Boatie_Bird....I walk everyday lol to take my son school, it takes me 2 minutes to get there so i suppse that doesnt count.

    Does housework count as exercise??:j

Its true that when the sun is out and im walking along the road I actually feel at ease and happyish.

 But today is grey and very cloudy, where as yesterday was lovely and bright.
Might brighten up a little bit later I hope.I have driving lesson in 30mins, really dont feel like going but i have to, so will chat to u all really soon.

Be positive and keep up the good work

    xx

You expend energy for exercise, and fitness pays you back with interest. But quite a bit later...

  • OK, so I've been for a run in my lunchbreak - I was very sensible and did 1 minute jogging and 1 minute brisk walking (repeated 10 times).
I'm still alive and my face has returned to its normal colour (rather than the bright red when I had finished).
My legs are now starting to feel stiff - what's the solution?
A gentle walk to the shop for a bar of chocolate?
    Suggestions welcome
