Absolutely true, honest. I just for some strange reason keep asking myself that single question. Literally every half hour or so :rotfl: .

Well ive failed miserably, after that torrent of abuse I received on another thread i've just gone back to the fags. I lasted 1 day 8 hours approx.

    Good Luck

Hi Brickingit, you can't quit being a quitter, it just doesn't sound right. Besides, you're my quit smoking buddy

Who gave abuse and where? Lemmee at 'em, cos there are some really "pain in the neck" sort people around forums who just can't understand that we are all in the same place for different reasons and not just theirs. You can whisper it to me in a PM if ye like :D Go on, you know you wanna tell so we can all see who the pain is... IS IT ME????

I did get a bit of flack on another thread, but it wasn't the reason for quitting, I was just using them as a excuse, i'm 'craving' sympathy you might say, :rotfl: . Unfortunately i'm in a 'i'll give up tomorrow mode':o .

Anyway I just got through another 10 of the little fellas.

    I'm giving up tomorrow  . Again :D .

I just read that thread you mentioned and oh, boy! What a weak excuse for quitting quitting :rotfl: And I now see why you're name's 'BrickingIt'... subtlety's not exactly your strong point, is it? "Ditch her"?? :rotfl: Are you a Scot, perchance? :rotfl: Why not just ask the question everyone's wanting answered? Are they really getting married just so they can have a party and get money in presents? :D

Apologies for going off topic but it's all in the name of getting the Brick back on track :D

Hi Mel, I don't know if this is the right thread you're looking for or, indeed, if it's the one Bricky was referring to, but it's an interesting one, nonethelsee and distracts you from wanting a ciggie whilst having your cuppa :)

If you look at BrickingIt's signature and left-click on their name, go down to "see all posts by..." you will see the thread. I think it's just a clear case of someone feeling a bit pent-up and you can see the frustration coming out in the words!!! It's not the BrickingIt we know and love... :rotfl:

BrickingIt - I can see you were suffering mate. Don't quit quitting. Come back when you fancy another go or just stay with us while you're looking for motivation to try again. A really good start was realising how the little war of words on the other thread was just an excuse to get some ciggies! Now you know how little they helped!

JoeHel, I'm hoping that Bricky has now quit quit quitting and it sounds like he'll be back to quitting tomorrow.

Hmm... I fell for that trick in Corfu some years back... the sign said, 'FREE BEER TOMORROW', so I went back the next day and the sign was still there! Doh! Told you I was silly :rotfl:

Think that's been about 32+ hours now and my sanity is showing no signs of returning yet. However, I haven't felt the urge to smoke, either, so that is good. If I have no urges between tonight and tomorrow, I'll put £5 in my ciggy piggy bank to celebrate.

NYK WACKY HINTS & TIPS: Never trust in tomorrow, it's better to state an exact day, date and time then try not to be late :D
