I'm used to the smell now lol.
No deod or ckin2u will get rid of it, funny I notice it now, and didn't when a proper smoker.
  • hi all just wanted to say ive set my stopping day for tomorrow and have a massive house clean planned to keep myself busy. I stopped before after reading the allen carr book (if you haven't read it then do-you will stop istarted again because i met my husband who is a smoker and i was convinced i was missing out on something. the worse mistake of my life except possibly getting in so much debt!)
anyway im determined to stop this time and use the extra money to go towards my debts. I will let you all know how im getting on.
Any tips/hints or support will be most welcome

    thanks guys xxxx:D

Hi Jetrox  and welcome to the thread :)

Good luck for tomorrow, we will all be here to support you, weekends tend to be busier and I'm at work during the day but will try and get on when I can (just started a new job but will find a way round the internet soon :D:D;)) but there will always be someone here to listen. Read the first post on this thread and look at the links and support incentives.

Are you re-reading Allen Carr this time or trying something else? TNG says the Neil Casey book (name of book escapes me at the mo..) is fantastic so maybe give that a try.

Definately keep us updated and maybe install the SilkQuit meter (link on first post) on your PC if you can, that will tell you how many fags you've not smoked and how much you've saved.

Good luck, hopefully talk to you soon :)

  • Hi all
Hi Jo really pleased to hear the job is going well and overtime already - go girl!! Things okay with me, looked my scan results up on tinterweb and mixed feedback - some say 6 wks to soon to see fetal pole and heartbeat others say should be seen Medical opinion is too soon - so I think I'll go with that - apparently at this stage even a day can make a huge difference. Well I'm 7 weeks today and my next scan is a week on Tuesday. So will just continue to take each day as it comes. Still worry about my age though :o you think I'd worked out how it was done by now 43 yrs and 4 children :o later. :D
Adz you know we're always here for you and we're willing you to stop but you also know its ultimately up to YOU and only for YOU!!!
Hey to everyone else, welcome to all the new members long may your quit and membership continue!! Looking forward to getting to know you all!

IDA, I think it's nearer 8 weeks that they can get a proper sight of the heartbeat, before that only the sac is visible. I'll have everything crossed till Tuesday week, just make sure you come straight here and let us know what happened cos this crossing could get painful ;)

Don't know if anyone noticed this, but I've set a new quit date for tomorrow.
