Very Very !!!!!! off, just typed the longest message in the history of MSE, a whole weeks worth of catch-ups, got on my soap box twice and welcomed a couple of new posters (Mumzy & Francophile :wave:)

Mrs TNG has sailed through [STRIKE]all the chocolate in the house[/STRIKE] two weeks, now. We're all very proud. She says the smell makes her wretch now, which is a good sign. Can't stand to smell it on people who have just had one in lifts etc

BE, of course we notice people disappear, even the new posters! You are just as important as the oldies, if it wasn't for newcomers to the thread there probably wouldn't be one (no offense to the oldies!)! Don't worry bout the slip up, that's all it was, a slip-up. You've just proved the fact that you no longer want to smoke as you're beating yourself up about it and you didn't enjoy it, just keep remembering that.

It's the devils advocate that's making you think you enjoy smoking and making you think you actually want to do it. When you stop smoking you aren't actually missing out on anything, tell me one thing you actually 'enjoy' about smoking. I bet you say, when you feel a bit stressed or have that smoking anxiety pang you light a fag and that goes away. Adz, I was quite offended by your post yesterday, I don't think there is any other poster on this thread that has more support than you (IMHO), whether you smoke or not is entirely your decision and nobody here will judge you for that. We (well most of us) have smoked for a very long time and know that we all went through the same thoughts as you are now. We are not patronising you, we are trying to make you understand that we know what is happening to you and what will happen to you. If you don't believe us, go out there and ask some other older smokers. If they knew when they were say, 14, that when they lit that first cigarette that they would spend untold money on it and still be doing it in 20 years, would they still light it? (Once again, RIP AC). I know you are happy, grumpy, moody and all those things, most of us are, but please don't take it out on the people that are trying to help.

I been busy today, actually went to work and did 4 hours overtime :eek: and then came home and cleaned the car out and have been on here for the last 3 hours trying to catch up with all my emails, between hotmail and yahoo I had over 250 :eek: I don't know if I can stand this no internet access at work. Apparently we can access it at lunchtimes but it's so bluddy slow that I wanna chuck it through the window!!

Went shopping with my gran so I've only had 1 today, but I could smell fags and it was obviously me.
