    Neither do I.

I didn't know how to chill WITH a fag either.

If you had a cigarette all that would still be there and just as stressful. The cigarette does NOTHING for you AT ALL

Accept that you are going to get stressed, just like everyone else does. Don't dwell on it too much....

I'm here - thanks for the heads up TNG :) but not doing very well at all. Figured you must all be sick of me harping on about how I want to give up but continually battle with Mr Teen. I'm on 5 - 6 a day still, and certainly don't enjoy it, just can't shake it off. And that's all it is, shaking it off. Doesn't bother me during the day, but come end of the day it's like a reward.

Been investigating Paul McKenna and Mark Jordan on a recommendation anyone any success ?

    Hi FrugalJo - welcome back!

Not sure about hypnotherapy, but I would say give it a go (price allowing). Whereabouts are you? There is an advert in my local paper (W. London) sometimes for group hypnotherapy for stopping smoking - MUCH cheaper than a one to one. I can try and dig it out if it would help

Alternatively - have you read Neil Casey? :) There's some good techniques in there....

EDIT : Just seen you're in Dorset. Ah well maybe W. London isn't much use then :o

Oh TNG - thank you so much for pm - I have been so busy that I didn't make time for this thread and it was so much help to me when I first gave up. Please forgive the thoughtlessness!!!:o
Well, thanks for the fabulous support of everyone here for thsoe first few weeks I have now been 'clean' for 2months, 2 weeks twenty hours and several minutes and seconds. I haven't smoked 2235 cigarettes and have saved well over £560 - not that I have actually saved it, needed it for the general family finances as DH went self employed.
So to all those who are where I was just a few weeks ago really, get the silkquit metre it is an incredible help- never forgetting the fabulous people here - more help than the NHS could ever hope to provide!!:T :T
    Take care all

Special hours tomorrow due to peer mentor training:
Don't have to leave at 7.45 :j, but 8.55, so may have time to come on in morning. (Loving the lie in idea :D)
Back about 2.30 if we finish on time :)

Thats because I'm missing the 45min journey to and from school, and going straight to the hotel near my house :)
