Hi all, hope you're all bearing up.
Don't punish yourself over your lapse, Adz; most people have to make at least a few attempts before they succeedd. Think about the circumstances of your lapse and consider what pushed you over the line so that you can prepare for the danger in advance next time.
One of the downsides of quitting is definitely the increased appetite; i feel i want to nibble at things and grab snacks whereas, before quitting, i very rarely snacked at all. It's not that i feel hungrier, just that i seem to have a bigger overall appetite! To avoid turning into Mr Creosote ( http://arago4.tnw.utwente.nl/stonedead/silly-stuff/mr-creosote/mr-creosote.jpg ), i have made a conscious effort to ensure that my increased snacking is on healthy foods ( such as salads; i've been using a number of the salad recipes on this site- http://www.razzledazzlerecipes.com/quickneasy/salads/index.htm ). Thankfully, to date, I haven't put on too much extra weight (about a pound or so, although, since i am now regulalrly exercising, i tell myself that the extra weight is due to the fact that muscle is heavier than fat!).
Stay strong everyone and keep reminding yourselves that you're doing this for your longterm health, prosperity, self-esteem and happiness!
