Yes the hire car was dropped off about a hour before his car was taken away, he has legal cover and the hire is included.

Lol he is actually insured with diamond (I thought it was for women only how sexist off me!)

He has actually just got off the phone with them, they agreed on £1900! So I don't know if the excess is still to be removed from that.

They said the check should be issed this week and posted, once he has the check the hire car is his for 7 more days to give it time to clear and secure a car apparently, this all seems a bit too easy.... not that I am advicating being reversed it to.

Good news then.
I would imagine you'll get the £1900 less your excess, but if the other party are accepting liability then your excess should be recoverable. One for the insurance company again.

Your neighbour will probably dislike you forever, but that's life!

:rotfl: I have no issues with that! Now if she could put her fag butts in the bin and not flick them over the fence my life would be perfect.

I think it has been this simple because the girl on the phone, my oh spoke to early, said that diamond was her insurer as well

Happy days... now to try and get Oh to buy a bigger car to cater for the 3 car seats!
