March 2013 Grocery Challenge
Comments

Hello,
Please may I join? For the remainder of this month I would like to set my budget to £10; I have rabbits who require vegetables (which I also cook and eat) otherwise I anticipate I could easily halve this figure.
I know we only have a week left of March but, as a newbie, I would appreciate this chance to give myself an indication of what I should budget for April (weekly spend multiplied by 52 and divided by 4)
Thanks,

Morning! Another NSD today because there's no way under the bleary sun that I'm going to a shop today. Got to love these NSD weekends. I always try to treat Sundays as though it were 30 years ago when the shops didn't really open on a Sunday apart from the paper shop or farm shops, so things were limited. Got to go and clear the car of snow in a bit as it doesn't look like it's going to melt anytime soon.

Welcome, inthedeep, hope we can be helpful.
I love rabbits and can't wait until we can have pets.
Toad in the hole tonight, I think, with beans. I'm going to try and make it supremely crispy, or else just grill the sausages and have bangers, mash & gravy.
Have a lovely weekend, everyone. Keep warm.

Shopped on Friday and now have £8 left. I have enough food to last to the end of the month but will need milk and grapes probably.
I'm happy as this was my first month on a considerably reduced food budget. I also have a lot more food in the freezer than I anticipated.0 -
