Had a little spend of £5.88 in the C*-*p today. No bananas left in the house, which we need as DD has come down with a sore throat , so i need soft things in that she will eat with packed lunch. I also like them with breakfast to keep me going. Also got Quorn meatballs on offer , with the premise that DD might eat these with some soft pasta/mash and ariabatta sauce. Two x YS Quorn Ham style slices which will do me and DD for sandwiches; and some snackajacks whilst they are still £1. I forgot Pitch for DD, but will get that nearer her breaking up or once i am in April budget as completely blown this one.

I have worked out however, that there is a styling head available on normal grocery website on Mr Ts and DD has been coveting one for ages (she had one years ago but got passed on); so this will bump the shopping up to £40 for delivery but bring my grocery spends down as the doll is from a different budget, so although over it makes it slightly better :D

Sorry i waffled .... sig updated.
Keep warm guys, it's freezing here.

  • Braved the cold weather and went to the chocolate festival yesterday. There were less stands than last year, but still had quite a few nice free tastings :D

Also got a hugemongous chocolate egg, I think it's like ostrich size big....It would normally have been £15 but I got it for £10 because it had a crack in it, and also because it was the last dark one that size. You don't see the crack if I display it turned towards the wall, and it will definitely not affect the taste, so I am a happy Easter bunny

Had a tea at le pain quotidien (entertainment budget) and got a quarter of their fantastic rye bread. But when I came home and tried to put half of it in our freezer, realised freezer is full to bursting, ..mainly with HM bread:p
Think loads of sandwiches for lunch this week...

Egg and bread spend: £12.40 but today will be a NSD (have already updated my sig) and am aiming to use up freezer stock this week.

Saw that April GC has started, will have to wait until end this week to tot up my spends and see how much to aim for next month, but am feeling positive!

Now off to read how everyone else is doing, hope everyone is keeping warm.

NSD here and my April GC starts tomorrow.
For dinner we had HM wedges with HM quiche and HM coleslaw.
While I was cooking dinner - I made some cakes for Cafe Church this evening. Almond cakes and a coconut/orange cake.

Your pictures always make me drool all over my keyboard:drool:

Right, am feeling all inspired to go and bake something now. Off to kitchen to check ingredients...
