So far I'm on £40/80, which isn't bad for the middle of the month! The only thing I need for next week is sandwich filling and bread (oddly enough). Could also use some healthier snacks, as I've been stress eating a lot lately!0

I just don't seem to be able to have a NSD, although i think yesterday was technically one as just paid for two ebay parcels to be posted, one which i underestimated by £4 , so didn't make very much in the end. I've had a hospital appointment today,so went in HBs for s/gel, binbags, lightbulbs etc; and busfare there but haven't included that. I'll seperate my spend when i get in as some was SW friendly bits and Quorn for DD (cheaper in FF than SM) and i will edit post/ sig later. I really need to do better next month, as my first try has been abismal and still a lot of days to go yet .... eek !!
Edited to say, my spends were around about the £13.80 mark ...updated my sig and then forgot amount. Was lot of paraphenalia but i won't get chance to go back to HB for a good few weeks, so would have paid more in the long run. I have to go back to the area where HB is, for four more hospital appointments, so god help me! This is Mid April to Mid May ....so will have to get a grip of myself!

Just over £7 spent yesterday on coke and cat litter, and an Easter egg(it was 99p!). All paid for with vouchers, but added to the total anyway. Didn't have to make dinner yesterday as OH brought a free pizza home from work. Eating way too much pizza lately, but seeing as his site is closing and he's losing his job (more things to worry about...) at the end of April, we may as well make the most of the free food. Had it for breakfast too!
I think the key to me staying in budget for the rest of the month will be just staying out of supermarkets :rotfl: I can't wait for April to come so I can do a big reduced shop!0 -
We're now just under half way through our budget, but conveniently, also half way through the month... Admittedly, the week isn't over, and we want a chicken this weekend, so will be costly, but we aren't doing too horrendously. Need to try and keep on top of this though, have been letting it slide a bit too much.0

Hello all,
I've been hiding a bit this week.... not from spending, I'm still being very good about not wasting money (total spend for the month so far is under £40) but because I've had a bit of a wobble in life and ended up on anti depressants for a while. All a bit of a shock to the system, but it'll save me a fortune as I've got to stay away from booze for a bit to let them kick in.
Hey ho, onwards and upwards, and preferably without all that embarrassing hiding under my desk now...Flippant yes, but it's mostly bravado.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Hello all
BargainBetty hugs and best wishes, hope things can now get better for you.
Minor spend today (first this week) of £2.50 on bread. I really must get the breadmaker on again this shop stuff is awful!
Haven't had much spend this month and only 1 mid top up shop to do next week so fingers crossed to be under budget this month, we could really do with it.
Have a lovely evening everyone.
