    Hi All

Had NSD's since Friday because I've been using freezer and cupboard stocks for dinners and lunches.
Only have one pack of turkey steaks in the freezer (along with bacon and prawns still for treat days, which I haven't been using, since I have a treat meal on a weekly meal out), and tuna and salmon tins in the cupboard. Will need to buy some things soon due to this.

The weather has improved a bit - a blue sky, regardless of the temperature, always puts me in good spirits! :D

Not doing badly so far. £47.36 so far, but we have to go shopping tonight. Just had a nightmare quote for DH's car so the tight belt is going to have to be even tighter. DH is cancelling a weekend away as we just can't justify it. I'm going to have to be very inventive with cooking. DH is even coming round to the idea of vegetarian living.

Changed sig as realised it's meant to be in red (will update after posting).

Technically a spend of £21.90 on cat food, however as £21.80 of that was from Paypal, i will just add 10p to total. I have decided next month, that i am not going to include cat food and litter, as unfortunately i can't downgrade on their food and it's sometimes needed at a different time from my normal online shop. Also, trying something better quality than that offered in SM so need to shop elsewhere. I will be trying out different litter as of next month too. So, i hope this all pans out. It's been trial and error this month for my first go and only two weeks in and can't believe how much spent already ...astronomical!!!

    Hi everyone,

NSD here. After Flo mentioned she had been Ebay!ng, I decided to get myself organised and list a load of things that I've been meaning to do for ages. Over 25 items listed now and some have bids, so happy days!

On a GC note(!) we have had DR beef rib casserole tonight with mash and sugar snap peas. Younger two children none to keen on casserole, but if they want pudding they have to eat their dinner - I am SO mean :rotfl:

Tomorrow should be another NSD as we have fish fillets, mini roasties and peas on the mealplan. Have everything I need for that.

    Keep going everyone!!

Another update. I spent £4.17 today on 2 x YS pork crackling joints and 3 x washing up liquid, again on offer with coupons too. I think ive done very well this month. My freezers crammed with meat, poultry, fish and the free milk i got. I wont be spending anything next week as im away. But im hoping to reduce next months challenge to £40 as i really do need to eat what i have in the freezer, fridge and cupboards, but I just cant resist the YS meat and other products. :D

£25 top up shop in Mr S tonight on fruit, potatoes, squash, foil and some cleaning products for when the cleaner starts at the end of the week.

I still need to add the spend on milk and bread that DMIL got yesterday but not sure what the spend was. Will ask her tomorrow and settle up.
