Sorry forgot to post last week! On track with spends of £16.43 at Lidl and £26.11 at mr T last week and £23.61 at Lidl ( bought cushelle on offer) and £18 at mr t. Apparently I saved £3.05 with their price promise .Credit card bill came this week and its at least half the usual as I am spending less at mr t. So I can see the benefits of the grocery challenge already. My secret fantasy is having 2 men....

NSD yesterday, some small spends to report today:
W*lkers crisps x6 - £1
YS trout fillet - 85p
Milk 2pints - 89p
OH made a lovely veggie and bean curry as I was at an exercise class after work - there is a portion left with some rice for my lunch tomorrow plus another portion (without rice) in the freezer).
I've been super organised this evening and made 5 portions of lentil and veg soup for the freezer for next week's lunches, the pizza dough for tomorrow's dinner, tuna sandwiches for OH's lunches tomorrow and Friday (he generally makes his own but occasionally I do, it saves money as he would use one tin for one day, while I made one tin do two :rotfl:). Plus I repotted some thyme seedings that desperately needed into a proper pot. So far I've planted blackcurrants (but won't get fruit til next year) and raspberries outside, and sowed some chilli, thyme, chive and basil inside. Really desperate to get mixed lettuce, spinach and baby carrots started in pots as I'd love to make even more of my little garden than I did last year!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
